You just saved me one more time... I am attending a microscopy course where the professor is not always clear, especially for someone who doesn't a have a good enough physics background like me. After watching this, I have the basics to proceed and actually comprehensively follow the lectures. Thanks a lot, you really are a life saver for so many people around the world :)
by watching your lectures and getting inspired by u sir I have now opted Bsc biotechnology instead of medical.....now all I am dependent is on ur lectures .... an ideal guru🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your video sir. I am messaging from Canada. Your videos provide me relief for a cell biology course im about to take. I have already failed it once and I am retaking it and just seeing and watching your videos provides me a really good idea and makes me more confident. I had this severe anxiety about succeeding in the course and with your videos I feel so much better. I subscribed and Im excited to see you hit 1million soon.
Got to your video from link mentioned in Kaunas University of Technollogy lecture slide. Proud to see Inndians recognised in Foreign universities as well. Good job bro.
you said smaller the d, greater the resolution? but according to the diagram of two dots on board, as d decreases, resolution also decreases towards right side, and as d increases towards left side, resolution also increases.. please explain?
Resolution is the ability to see two things apart As we move closer to the screen (d is decreasing) the two dots placed on the board will be clearly visible as two distinct dots And vice versa if we zoom out ( d is increasing) the two dots appears one
Great video sir, it's really helpful. Can u make a video on how to prepare ARS NET in Agriculture Biotechnology? I know you are the only one to sort out and make a video on it ...........please sir
Sir u mentioned that resolution is the ability to see two points seperately.. Then u mentioned d is inversely proportional to resolution..that means the closer the points are the better is the resolution(ability to see two points seperately) Is it that.. resolution is the ability to see two points seperately without missing it's finer details??
D means minimum distance b/w 2 points recognisable as 2 diff entities. If you can visualise 2 points clearly which are at 5 nm and other at 2.5 nm, which one would you prefer? Obviously the second one. So, d is inversely prop to resolution.
Thank you for the great video! I would like to ask what I should use as lambda in the formel for the limit resolution by epiflurescence. d=0,61.lambda/ NA What is lambda by epiflurescence: excitatationwavelenght or emissionwavelengt?
Can u tell me a idea how i will get a good technical knowledge ? For example i saw your video , i took notes also but is that information is enough for getting deapth knowledge ? Or i can read more related to that topics?
I have a doubt sir ,you say resolution is increases when we decrease 'd' ( distance between two points ) but sir if we decrease the distance between two points then points came near and nothing will be visible ,then how can we differentiate between two points Please reply me sir 🙏i am confused

Hello, I have question that what is answer of
Various sources of illumination used in light microscopes ??

What was d? The distance between eye piece and object or the distance between objective lens and object?

If we use an oil immersion objective with blue light for sample illumination then wt will be the resolving power?
Can u tell me a idea how i will get a good technical knowledge ? For example i saw your video , i took notes also but is that information is enough for getting deapth knowledge ? Or i can read more related to that topics?
Read books and any piece of information on that topic available in such a way that you are able to explain the topic to a layman

Resolution is the capability to distinguish between two points

What should we take wavelength of white colour if it is being used as source ?
Which objective is better at the same magnification : having aperture of 0.34 or 0.87 ?
