our pakistani friends have to understand that the world is not just made up of islamic or western culture.
that is not european or not islamic or not asian or not western culture. this is TURKISH CULTURE. We are always TURKS first and foremost.
we turks have a 1000 year old Islamic history, but we also have a 10 000 year NON-ISLAMIC history.
In every era of our history, Turkish women have participated in every area of life.
independence and freedom is our character. it is the blood that flows in our veins.
So please, have respect for our turkish culture.
we are NOT westernized. Turkish women fought wars and ruled states when the west didn't even exist.

You said what you said...I'm not going to agree or disagree with what you said execep for one thing...just be careful what you say...if you are a Muslim then first and foremost you are always muslim and then your nationality....that is what an ummah is...your belief in your creator has to come before your flag. I would not like to be the one to answer for that statement on the day of judgement. Cultures are beautiful and lovely in their own right...they don't need to be cancelled....but you are speaking of Turkish history as if this wedding is a resemblance of that...I can't comprehend white English dresses and western dresses originating from 10,000 year old Turkish history.
I'm a muslim from India.I love turkish lyfstyle... I realy lyk how much they are different from other islamic country.. we indian also enjoy our wedding day.

I love how no one is judging anyone. There are women in hijab and women in sleeveless clothes, the bride is laughing and dancing, the groom kissing the bride on the forehead, everyone's just having fun, everyone is just enjoying and appreciating ! Love it

Been to Turkey 5 times love Istanbul and the resorts that I visited. Consider Turks as soul mates. Ever since 1983 from my work in Riyadh and over the years had many Turkish students stay at my house in UK, always had an affinity with Turkish people.

selam my pakistani brother. today i discovered your channel. Thank you for this video and for your efforts. I would especially like to thank you for your respectful and loving manner. the pakistani people I have met were always very polite, friendly and hardworking people. i have never had bad experiences with pakistani people. but some comments under this video make me very sad. we turks are condemned because we are not good muslims and are westernized. what they do not understand is that Turks have lived between east and west for thousands of years. Globalization is not a new topic for us. it is a topic several thousand years old. we've always tried to make the best of it. we have always fought for our independence and freedom. sometimes we had successful epochs, sometimes we lost everything and started over from scratch. We have gathered a lot of experience for this and have always learned from our mistakes. if the ottoman empire had managed to implement secularization and modern reforms a few centuries ago, the ottoman empire would still exist today. if you oppose progress and do not understand the spirit of the times, you are doomed to lose. that doesn't mean you have to give up your own culture. But on the contrary. you have to find a way to adapt your own culture and way of life to the new. in my country religion and belief is a private matter. whoever wants can live religiously, whoever can live liberally. everyone has to respect the other

islam Arap olmak veya araplar gibi görünüme yada kültüre sahip olmak demek değildir.. işte tüm meselede bu zaten.. bazı insanlar Allah’a ulaşmak için kuran yolunda herşeyi öğrendiğini sandıkları ile çabalar.. bazıları ise belki günahkar, belki aşık olarak kalben, Kurana ulaşmak için çabalar.. niyet kötü olunca insan bile o niyetin kötü oluşunu kabul edemezken, merhametlilerin en merhametlisi “tövbe haşa” niyetlerimi gözardı edecekmiş? işte Türkiye’mizin niyeti bukadar açık, bukadar her birimizden bir parçadır..

Ma sha allah, the wedding looked more like middle easten and western style. It's great to see how other cultural weddings look like. Our desi weddings are more crowded with so much food and good music especially punjabi.
