- We track test the 2024 Corvette E-Ray to see how it stacks up against our 2024 C8 Z06 at NCM Motorsport Park! We had the opportunity to do a few spirited touring laps and then some Dragy verified 0-60 launches at this AMAZING Facility! I highly recommend the NCM Motorsport Park experience for anyone who has not had a chance to experience any of the corvette variants on the track in their natural habitat. Their staff and instructors were TOP NOTCH and drivers of any skill level will enjoy themselves! Thank you Morgan at NCM Motorsport Park for this opportunity!

I don't get it. Although I appreciate your opinion, You never really compare it to the Z06 like the title says, and throughout the video we watch you lag behind the pace car and admit that you're not that good a driver with that car on the track. How are you qualified to make the comparison?
I do offer comparisons with the Z06 and I’m qualified to give my opinion on the difference because I own and drive and track a Z06 😊.

Yes it does……. They are touring laps behind the instructor with maximum speed of 100 mph that’s why no helmet required. Brandon has PDR footage of the instructor lap with him riding along and that’s different story altogether. Fantastic experience and I loved the car as a whole. It’s also a really tight technical circuit that requires more skill than I posses to run that car flat out on that track. Thanks!
A whole lot of people that never grew up racing cars and motorcycles on track are buying these cars, and will never comprehend how serious the C8 series is. You have to get into getting from one apex to the next as fast as the car can possibly go to really understand HOW VALUABLE the entire C8 series is. The intent of engineering on this car was PURE GT car and we are getting reports from the Canyons of California that this car is outrageously good for that task. So another mission accomplished for GM engineers. The Z06 was designed as a track focused car, and GM engineers are being praised all over Europe as a test car circulates the major European car magazines at this very moment. Bottom line is the question ARE THE C8 SERIES CARS WORTH THE PRICE? The resounding answer coming from all corners of the globe is if these cars cost twice as much it would still be a option for purchase. A PORSCHE TURBO S with some options is honing in on a on the magic 300,000 dollar range, and only the most successful DOCTORS AND LAWYERS buy those cars. The ERAY is simply a better GT car for less money when thinking objectively.
It is the BEST GT car in the current line up 100%! It’s a REALLY OUTSTANDING car! And I would not line my Z06 up against it at a stop light.

Nice video. I was on that track with Mike & Clarence Friday they both nailed it. That NCM Motorsports track requires lot’s of skill and confidence to drive well.

Yah. I wouldn’t trade my Z06 for an E-Ray in a million years after driving both. I will say the numbers we got on 0-60 are going to be a bit controversial LOL. I am repeating testing this week as well with an E-Ray a local guy has here in GA. Thanks Larry!!

Dale. He let me have two extra laps cause the guy in our group never went over 65MPH. Very fun track, will be scheduling more time soon. My car's in the background @ 19:50
Our instructor is in the video towards end after he ran Brandon on his lap. That was an AMAZING experience!
We are already talking with them about a DBM Racing return and maybe event day for folks!
