I truly have never lied about my age. Guess what, I didn't even go on my very first date until I was 32, so I was most definitely over 30 and single and content, at least until I met my husband! I got married as a 36-year-old virgin. I'm currently 40. Still haven't had a baby yet, but I hope we'll be blessed with one.

Even as a 9/10 year old back in 2009 when I first watched this show, I thought Mr. Sheffield was fine asf. Or attractive, at least.
But now at 21, with all the hormones in everything, he fine as hell, especially with the glasses, the salt and pepper hair and the British accent-WHOO CHILE🥵🥵. Older men do something to me 😭😭

They sure did place alot of emphasis on age back then. She was just early 30s and they made it sound so old esp for being unmarried. Thankfully times changed and women do what they want at whatever age they want without so much judgement. Even though sadly Gen Z's are trying to shame others for age, hopefully ageism bs will be a thing of the past one day.
I actually imagined Fran have another sister, a younger sister. She visits one day and is surprised that Fran says she's 29. The sister proudly admits she's 32, and she's younger than Fran! Imagine that awkwardness!🤣
Also, she lives down south. She left home to get away from her mother's constant nagging pressure to date and get married. Unlike Fran, she's perfectly content to be over 30 and single. Also, like Fran, she works with children, except she works in daycare and is also a part-time nanny! Also, unlike Maxwell and Fran, she's on a first name basis with her male employers, as is everybody. (She lives in the south!)

The reason that I stop Watching this show actually from almost the beginning was the fact that she always looked at the camera all the time like 100 times an episode..I so hated that so much so I stop watching that show because of that, that was sooooooooo annoying to me, when you watch another episode look closely that she looks to the camera all the time...
That was part of Fran Fine's shtick. Breaking the fourth wall. Like a nod or wink to the audience watching from home.
