- The Hunger Games. I was actually surprised how many of you have requested this one. I guess anything that hits a certain level of popularity or cultural saturation is bound to get hated on. Guess what? It's still pretty great. Here's everything right with The Hunger Games!

Haymitch wasn't even in a normal Hunger Games.
He was in the Second Quarter Quell, where there were 48 tributes.

Alduin the Lord of Dragons that’s only because the capital though he disrespected they, so they killed his mom, brother, and girlfriend, causing him to get a drinking problem
Yes! There's a short fanmade film on UA-cam about that! It's so good!
@@racheldupuis9558 God I remember watching that back when this movie was first released. Insane to see that fan film still talked about almost a decade later
11:19 - finally someone realizes that while Cato certainly is a brutal sadist, he's also a victim. His death is really hard to watch, no matter how often I see this film.
It’s even worse in the books. I don’t even remember if he had a speech but his death makes it clear he’s as much of a victim as any other kid there.
I was watching and was just like, "you good Cato??"
(I wld probably be a bit more emotional if it wasn't 4am and I was completely dead inside and also didn't really like the film. I didn't like the shaky camera, and I also didn't like the choice of haymitch's actor. a wonderful actor, but he didn't look like I imagined haymitch wld. a matter of opinion, ofc)
Rue’s death was the worst for me I’m still mad she died
BirdyLady 333 : No matter how many times that I watch this movie, I get very emotional when Rue dies. 😩😭🤧

With the limited run time of films, I'm glad they cut them and gave the time to much more interesting characters like Effie and Haymitch. If either of them had less screen time than they wouldn't have been done justice at all.
@@artloverivy Yeah I understand that but in a perfect world it would have been nice to see their growth in screen
Ikr I wouldn’t be upset with a guy 3 and a half hour movie if it went more in-depth
When Effie said “that is mahogany”, I thought it was some kind of crime. Then I realised the was talking about the wooden table underneath them...

He became addicted when snow killed his family after he won the hunger games cause if you throw something at the edge of the arena it will fly back and a girl did it to kill him but he ducked down and it flung back at her and killed her so he won but snow didnt like that haymitch figured it out so he killed his whole family

Craftyii builds No, the Capitol kills your family if you refuse to be turned into a sex slave
DeathnoteBB that’s something that’s not the only occasion learn your stuff you fucking idiot
Here's a tip: If you were to be able to choose which district to live in, ALWAYS choose one of the capitol districts. Why? Because it's an honor to be chosen, and if you don't want to be picked, there will always be someone willing to volunteer.
But if you lived there, you'd probably think it was too. It soil be engrained in your mind to think like that by everyone around you.
Why did you call them a Capitol District? Do you mean Career district?
Also youre not starving to death constantly and surviving on scrounged scraps in hovels. Really the odds of being chosen are lottery winner level if the maths is done, its not something to really worry about
Saying that it’s a Capital District is the same as Career District because it is closest to the Capital and the Capital favors them the most...so, the same thing 🤦♂️
@@cavespider5377 well sure, but just for the sake of intelligibility, one might as well use the correct nomenclature
The first time I read the Hunger Games I was way too young and a lot of the symbolism and political devices went over my head. Returning to it as an adult I realized that it is genuinely one of the best depictions of dystopian realities in literature. From the way the districts are so preoccupied with fighting each other than the Capitol to Katniss realizing towards the end that Coin is turning into another version of Snow and that just because they fought for the same thing doesn't automatically make Coin one of the "good guys", this is seriously more topical than ever. Not to mention this is probably the best movie adaptation of a book I have ever seen. It may sound odd since the series is Y/A and therefore often discredited as something for teen girls, but I firmly believe that 40 years from now we will see this series placed on the shelf with books like 1984 and Fahrenheit 450.
It's especially poignant because people think the books are anti-capitalism but they're so CLEARLY anti-socialism, with the government owning and operating all commerce, deciding who gets what
With the genocide happening in Gaza I came back to this movie series and yup sure enough it holds as true as ever
Dude I am ALWAYS saying this and people look at me like I'm insane. I think Suzanne Collins killed it. Even the love triangle is symbolic for how people deal with trauma. I'd take an analysis of these books over Orwell's ridiculous jam-packed essay smack in the middle of 1984 any day.
(I really enjoyed 1984, for the record)
More like 4 years from now 😕
Also one of the ironic and kind of scary things about the series is that the fans and readers do the same thing the Capitol does to the characters- ignoring their struggles for the sake of shallow entertainment. Katniss throughout the books is clearly losing herself and battling both an internal and external war and goes through terrible things to affect change, but the thing fans focused on was whether she should be shipped with Gale or Peeta whilst ignoring the horrors she's actually going through. It's exactly what the Capitol does by forcing her love story with Peeta to be the main source of attention rather than the systemic deaths of literal children and the inherent issues in their government.
This hits hard. I hope the people you're aiming to read this
As someone with bad PTSD and survivor's guilt, thanks for making this comment. More people need to realize the horrific effects trauma has on you/your brain. I remember reading these books when I was younger and thinking she needed to just get over it. Now I see how naive I was. Not to say I didn't sympathize with her, but I was frequently frustrated by something I just couldn't understand. Catching Fire especially depicts this really, really well. From addiction (Morphlings+Haymitch) to Katniss's freak-outs, it's just gut wrenching and an excellent depiction of PTSD and survivor's guilt.
And yet the Capitol audience is ready to riot when they believe that Katness is pregnant... What is it about status quo people that they will care less about the deaths of children but will freak out over the unborn?
@@TheNoodleIncident Same with the last book I was so close to Katniss understanding throughout all three books with not only the nightmares but starving and having a distant parent, by the third book when she just chose to be silent I understand why with all her pain, loss, torture and so on. The book shows yes about how the world might be like this in a hundred or more years but also shows how trauma and neglect can cause damage.
Do catching fire!
DO CATCHING FIRE!

I sad :-( 😟😞😢
J Law is AMAZING in these movies! Those who say the love between her and Peeta was cold doesn't understand the book or Katniss. I think J Law/the director nailed it.
It’s just one of those adaptation problems. In the books Katniss is stone faced and stoic, it’s a major part of her character that she deliberately tries to never show any feeling.
All of the inner awesomeness, and flaws, and nuance, intelligence, cunning, and just overload of emotion happens on the inside. We get to experience that in the books.
So when it comes to adapting it, do you stay true to the character but chance the possibility of viewers thinking that she’s wooden? Or do you completely rewrite the character to show who she is on the inside?
I personally think they chose correctly. Because we do still see some of Katniss’ inner turmoil, but also the fact that she is so deliberately stoic- and that the latter is a massive part of her character. If she’s not stoic, she’s not Katniss

Cinna was one of my favorite characters... Probably the worst death in the books for me personally.
Carlos Rodriguez Thing is we never know what happens to him. Finnick hits me harder because of Annie and a self-sacrifice win
Luigi Nastro Finnicks death in the book was so unnecassery and stupid.. In the movies however it was pretty good.
I hated how Cinna's death even happened off-screen. I mean, they just said he had died and that's it, he's dead! At least Finnick had a pretty epic demise, especially in the movie.
He dies??? NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!
I hated Finnick's death, because I loved him, but also because he was screaming for help, not to die or for her to run. I realize that she couldn't of helped, but couldn't they had made him scream do it, instead of screaming her name?!
This movie as well as the book series are really inexplicable. Simply because they are so genius. It’s full of emotion. People are living in poverty, starving and being oppressed by the capitol and are forced to give up two young kids who will enter an arena along with 22 others to kill each other. Even now 8 years later I still can’t get that through my head, they are actually killing each other, while others watch on live tv. It’s just so grim but so exciting at the same time.
''It's just so grim but exciting'' is what basically everyone thought, and I think it's scary how genuiely invested in the games we are lol. There is a weird appeal to see how all the participants use different strategies to try to win. Honestly, I'd love to have short stories that show you the pov of characters like Peeta(how did he convince the careers to accept him, and did he actually kill that kid near the place where Katniss was hiding at the begining), Thresh(what did his area of the games look like, how did Cato kill him), Foxface(how come she saw that district 3 kid constructing mines around the horn of plenty?), and when we look at the second game, I think a pov in the district 1-2 group would be nice(Did they also figure out how the arena works?).
@@legrandliseurtri7495 I personally would love to see a POV of the meth heads. I know they're only mentioned as an afterthought and I'm not sure if they even appear in the book. But it would be interesting
👍
10:39 alright so the only part of the movie that I was genuinely irritated by was the mutts. Yes, they did a fairly good jobs, but I wish that they had stuck to the book a little more when designing them. In the book, the mutts were designed after every tribute who had died. When Katniss realizes, it makes it countless times harder to kill them. Other than that, I loved how much they stuck to the books, but I wish they included that detail.
Chiaseeds ABSOLUTELY agreeeeeeed
Not to mention it wasn’t ever confirmed in book 1 whether or not they _were made from_ the dead tributes.
I really wanted them to be werewolves... when you said this I was a bit disappointed
Yeah... that’s just creepy. Katniss questioned whether the capital transplanted the brains of the tributes too. Would’ve been cool if they confirmed it to be true or not but still, downright inhumane
Especially because the mutt that makes her realize it is the one designed after Rue 😭

Misty Whispers, lmao
*ITS A LIE* !
Misty Whispers i knew it was a type of wood but i was dumb and all these years i thought it meant “that is improper !!” or something like that😭
At 6:25 you’re actually correct. As an archer, your bow is your partner. Not only your bow, but your limbs, your arrow and hell in some occasions even the string. You wouldn’t just use someone else’s bow and expect to get good with right off the start.
Bro literally how do you become an archer
The shaky cam was also used so that we could tell the difference between "our" cameras and "The Capital's" cameras once they entered the arena. The shot with Gale and Katniss lounging in the forest being still shot can be attributed to the later revelation that the Capital does, in fact, monitor some area close to the fence (how they knew she hunted + when they tried tricking her into getting electrocuted by setting off the fence after she crossed into the forest).
"that is mahogany!"
"everything here in the presidential mansion is mahogany."
"wow is that mahogany?!"
effie trinket loves mahogany.
i said too much mahogany now the word doesn't makes sense.
Gaaa I hate it when that happens, once I was stuck like that for window and broken. Weird week. Mahogany mahogany mahogany
It's cas mahogany is expensive wood
"Break it down? Are you kidding, this is hand-carved mahogany." I liked that part of that movie.

HOW ABOUT ITS JUST BAD MANNERS *CINNA*
When I first saw this movie and heard that line, I thought that she was saying some fancy name of saying “that’s illegal for stabbing a higher statistic person” but ya know, a type of wood works too.
Erin: THAT'S NOT VEGAN
Isabelle Fuhrman and Alexander Ludwig I feel were great in creating their characters. Clove is tiny compared to the other tributes and compensates for that with her unhinged nature. Where as Cato is still a maniac but he is shown to still be scared in his final scene adding a complexity to his character that we didn't expect.
My point is those two actors each deserve a win.
The scene between Katniss and Cinna before she's lifted up into the arena is one of my favourite scenes in any film in the last decade or so. Katniss is literally trembling - wonderful acting by Jennifer Lawrence - and Lenny Kravitz is just magnificent too. Really understated and subtle.
I think I like Effie more than most: she's a product of propaganda and brainwashing and she genuinely believes what she is doing is right. In her own way she's a victim of the Capitol (not as much as people from the Districts obviously, but still) but her genuine affection for Katniss and Peeta leads her to try and help them and ultimately turn her back on everything she knew. When finally faced with reality, Effie makes the right choice.
I'd love to see you win Cloud Atlas. Got panned by a lot of people but one of my all-time favourite films.
I always view cinna and effi as like a "middle class" if you will ie they are not district poor that they view the games as completely fucked and the reality, but they aren't the rich members of the capital that are desensitised.
Like they are trying to make a best if the worst situation type thing in that they are trying to make the tributes feel better
Just an interesting thought that Katniss and Peeta represent the two parts of the Hunger Games: Hunger and Games. Katniss is the Hunger, a hunter who fights to survive. Peeta is the Games, charismatic and using camouflage.
Never thought about it that way. Well done.
You sir, are a genius

I was in my mid 30s when I read The Hunger Games. I agree with you, there's no age limit on YA fiction. Sometimes I want to read PG13 stuff without gratuitous sex. Plus, everyone who is currently an adult was a young adult at some point, so we can all relate.
While I have lots of "adult" series on my shelves, I also have a lot of "young adult." That's what I'm currently reading, in fact.

Ru's death is still one of two movies to ever make me cry.
And if you do Catching Fire, please remove a win for it not showing Haymitch's game. It was the thing I was most looking forward to when it came to the movie, and they didn't show it. I was so disapointed.
iTzz Bowser Jr I’m still waiting for a prequel movie of that games, that part in the book is as good as the other games
I know right? I'd watched the movie first then read the books and asked myself why Haymitch's game wasn't in it at all!
Same hear movie's don't get but that scene hit me hard.
HEATHEN IT'S SPELLED RUE
1:29 I love the arc that she does end up having children with Peeta, once he teaches her to see the good in the world again.
This is perfect reference to how Peeta was better than her for Gale, as she describes in having "plenty of fire her own". She needed someone who could help her see a future rather than just fighting to stay alive in the now.
I think katniss is unable to fight for a better future, she is too focused on herself and what she wants, gale is willing to lose everything for building better a better world
Oh, and “no one really like shaky cam, it makes you feel sick, you can never focus on anything . . . “ I like shaky cam if it’s used well, it adds to the emotion / psychology of the scene. It’s never made me feel sick, though when not done well, too much or too often it can distract and sometimes make it hard to figure out what to focus on (which admittedly, is sometimes the point). Anyway, I like it.
I agree! Definitely added to the atmosphere in this film. Gave it a kind of raw and visceral quality the later movies lacked.
In general action movies utilize shaky cam but they use it unnecessarily
I think the best use of shaky cam was during the reaping. Along with dulled audio it really gives you a good look into the anxiety Katniss had during that moment.
the shaky-cam DOES make me feel sick.. and honestly, that's a good thing? this isn't a feel-good movie
I'm so sad Madge wasn't a part of the movies, her giving Katniss the badge felt and was more important than her just finding it in the shop, especially once you learn in the sequel that Madge's aunt was in the 2nd Quarter Quell with Haymitch and Madge's aunt gave her sister the pin I believe, Madge's mother giving it to her
Here's a win: a Katniss is a flower and it's nickname is an arrowhead and the Katniss has a skill with 🏹! Cool fact huh?
Katniss, in the book, is not referred to as a flower but as a starchy tuber like a potato. And she literally provides sustainance to her family because of her hunting and gathering skills. So yeah, arrows and food. That's Katniss.
To refer to her as a flower is ironic, because though she's beautiful she always dismisses her own beauty as utterly irrelevant to her personally.
@@Marialla. actually no, im currently reading book 1 and it specified that she came across the katniss flower which her father said, as long as u have these ull nvr starve
@@Marialla. Most food plants flower, even tubers. Potato plants have beautiful flowers.
@@underscore_ditto hang on, maybe she noticed the plant because of the flower, but it isn't the flower that is edible. She specifically talked about how the roots, roasted, were as good as any potato. The flower to her was incidental, not the actual thing she was after.
@@Wilhelmena3 that is true. I've even grown potatoes myself, and admired their flowers. But my point stands. The plant has a flower, and maybe it's gorgeous, but Katniss cares about the root because she's trying to stave off starvation, not make a bouquet. And that's perfectly in line with her personality. She doesn't care much about fragile surface things. She cares about the root meanings, and being practical. She's grounded. She would relate to the tuber, not the flower.

i’ve always thought that seneca crane’s beard was a reflection of his sharp or cut throat persona, instead of him having something rounded or amiable that would give off the opposite vibe. it seems controlled and short lived just like him. the makeup, architecture and costume design in this film is second to none and really effectively portrays the tone and what the audience should be feeling during certain scenes (for example the strange eeriness of effie’s pale and fake makeup not only standing out amongst the people of district 12 but giving the pretence that she is hiding her humanity).
I like shaky cam, but sparingly and with good purpose. Yes, there's purpose here, but it's sometimes really overdone.
Carlos Rodriguez What's your opinion on Lars Von Trier's use of it?
I agree! I love the shaky cam use for the actual game portion, but it makes zero sense to have shaky cam while hunting a deer or showing district 12. I understand his points that it's uncomfortable, but it really is to the point where most of the first portion is unwatchable because it makes me sick to my stomach. The camera work is lightyears better in Catching Fire.
Blacque Jacques Shellaque A lot... a lot of people would disagree with you on Bourne. Bourne used it well.
Carlos Rodriguez Shaky cam, especially with a narrow FoV and a washed-out colour pallet, makes me physically ill and in longer doses will add a migraine to the nausea. I think film-makers forget that shaky-cam has to be considered from a practical, "Will this make my viewers physically uncomfortable?" standpoint as well as a stylistic one.
Just watched Saving Private Ryan yesterday, and that film utilized shaky cam sparingly but appropriately. You're supposed to feel disoriented along with the soldiers.
I'd like to make a request: A movie that is critically panned, but very popular, and that you *DON'T* like. I'd like to see you finding *REAL* wins in a movie you don't like, and see if the hunt changes your opinion of the movie by the end.

6:11 those are capital kids, they don’t have a chance of being selected.
I haven't seen the last two movies yet, but I'm pretty sure those Capitol kids playing with fake weapons was another visual exposition showing how the Capitol citizens as a whole view the Games, which is just as a form of entertainment rather than seeing actual kids being made to fight to their deaths.
its possible they could be district 1 or 2 kids. in those districts the kids volunteer always, they are trained from a young age to be good fighters then when they reach an appropriate age they volunteer because they believe it brings them honour or something. in return for district 1 and 2's loyalty and acceptance of the way of the world they are treated almost equal. that family could be from district 1 or 2 visiting the capital for the hunger games.

I haven't had a chance to see the movies yet, but I liked the books, and I know a lot of people full-on hate them, so it would be interesting to see it.
+Aengelo Vargas Honestly I liked GhostBusters 2016
The only win is that those films gave us the phrase "Still a better love-story than Twilight."
+DeonteDoesStuff! Firestone I didn't think it was bad as everyone made it to be either
The_Lost_Son im going to be honest.... twilight wasn't bad but the rest were trash
Moral of the Hunger Games, rolling down a hill is the best way to escape
So true, I’m pretty sure this is how they escaped in the arena in catching fire too

Cinema Wins win
Gemma Stockley damn it I was writing that in a sec
anyone else realise PEETA is a BAKER. peeta bread
@@sonnybro3915 Yes and his first connection with Katniss is over bread. And the kids are *reaped* for the *Hunger* Games like wheat in a field, to essentially bring the whole of Panem (which means bread in Latin) together, until the girl on fire burns it. Nice food symbolism especially for a book about poverty.
Thank you for reading the book first, and your comment about the "mayor's daughter" made me laugh like crazy. (If you don"t know the mayor's daughter Madge is the one who gives Katniss the Mockingjay pin but in the movie it's just an old lady)
50 EFFIE TRINKETS HAVE JOINED THE CHAT: GASP THAT IS MAHOGANY
EVERYTHING GREAT ABOUT GOBLET OF FIRE!!!!
Yes please.
gof harry!!! "HARRY! DID YOU PUT YER NAM IN DEH GOBLET OF FHIRE?!"
Yes, hurry up with that one!
gof harry!!! yeah
I'm waiting to see the win counter when Tennant looks at Snape's screwdr... *cough cough* wand.
In eleventh grade, our school bell sounded kind of like the mockingjay whistle so everytime the bell rang me and my classmates would put our three fingers up hunger games style. 🤣
Really would love to see you do the other 3 movies in the series. The second and last ones are especially really good imo and even the third is pretty good, defintely deserves a bit more credit than it gets
still waiting on Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises
Haasher Please, he can't make a 2 hour 32 minute video. He can make a 1 second long video. (Respective)
Haasher YES. BATMAN BEGINS WAS LIKE 2 or 3 MONTHS AGO. Wtf
Ceedubs Entertainment patience it will come. The wait just makes it all the more rewording when it does.
I think he already posted videos on those but I can't be sure :/
Well...
I do like this movie, but it was a huge missed opportunity in my opinion to not shoot the Hunger Games like an actual TV broadcast. With little to no movement on the cameras and maybe a little capital logo in the corner. They could've shown interviews with the tributes family's (one of the characters says they do that in the books) to flesh out some of the characters more. I'm not a film expert but I think it could be better than what we got, where every action scene in this movie looks like it was filmed in the middle of an earthquake, and most of the tributes are faceless and robotic.
Brock Allan Agreed
Honesty
*Ding*
Thats actually a very good idea you should be a film maker and make you idea a reality
I think that would be a good spin off film
Greg Greggorson that would be an amazing idea for a spin off tv show, maybe each season could be a different years game.
The music at the end with Ceaser gives me chills every time. All the music in this movie is absolutely perfect and really makes you feel like you’re in the reality.
Anyone know what song that is?
Ok now you have to do the full series! Mockingjay deserves redemption!
YESSSSSSSSSS!
Mockingjay part 1 sucked but part 2 was amazing. Makes me wish they kept it as 1 movie.
@@montyrobertson7362 Mockingjay was 2 parts for marketing reasons, which was irritating since it was based on an existing trilogy of books. I think the books had a good amount of filler already (like an entire chapter of Katniss trying on dresses in book 1) because they were a "planned" trilogy, then the movie makers padded the already-padded third book to squeeze it into two movies. Which is why the first movie wasn't great. The second movie was most of the plot from the book Mockingjay.
Please review the whole series @CinemaWins! Despite the shameless marketing, there are good things about all of them.
That one comment “mmm soggy burnt bread” I couldn’t stop laughing
11:44 while she still is seeing a bigger picture, in the books, she explains how killing the tribute from your district is kinda like betrayal and your district will forever hate you. So that was her main motivation for this stunt, but I still agree with you.
Oh honey EVERYTHING is great about the hunger games.
No you're wrong
Harry Valiente oh ok I am just stating my opinion,I am sorry if I made you sad
Harry Valiente
In your opinion
No, but a lot of stuff is.
"I VOLUNTEER!"
*THE STARTING OF THE MEME/GIF THAT WE ALL USE*
When are we gonna get the rest of the series? I just rewatched the series and there is so much to win about the rest. Many people have problems with some of the movies, but after watching them one after the other, I think the whole series is great. I'd love to see videos on Catching Fire and the Mockingjay movies.
8:30. How would they miss that. He mentioned sponsors several times. This is why I like subtitles. People miss things while chewing popcorn.
Could you please do an "Everything Great About How to Train Your Dragon 2"
Gabriel Haskins Yeah, he did the first one so he better do the second
Yesss that’d be so great! Can’t imagine how much the win counter will go up when Toothless goes Alpha form and defeats the Bewilderbeast.
Oh gods yes 🐲🐉
PLEASE DEAR GOD YES.
Since everyone seems to think that they have to hate on the counterpart...
do *EVERYTHING GREAT ABOUT CINEMASINS*
Nothing great about CinemaSins though. They’re clickbait
No everything great about cinema wins
That would a short video.
Everything GREAT about
Pirates of the Caribbean
Prince of Egypt
PLEEEEEAAAASE
The Prince of Egypt is a masterpiece!
I noticed how they made the love interest battle between Peta and Gale stronger by using the bread thing. Peta threw a burnt loaf to her, letting it get soaked in mud. Gale hands her a perfectly baked loaf that's relatively clean after having been wrapped in a cloth for safe keeping. That solidified Katniss's uncertainty when it came to believing Peta and her constant trust of Gale.
Haymitch is honestly such an underappreciated and unterutilised character, both in the books and the films. He has such a fantastic, interesting backstory. Woody Harrelson was perfect casting, too.
Oh man just watching this made me emotional again. I really love this series and the way it shows the utter reality of life, death, hunger, and pain.
5:00 THAT IS MAHOGANY
7:13 MANNERS
Priorities
anybody else think with the new movie coming out, he should totally do all the sequels soon?
I see the point of using shaky cam to effect, but then it is also used constantly used in scenes where a slow cold panning would be more effective.
I’m so obsessed with the reaping scene because it’s such a strong feeling from Effie of “You truly have no clue what goes on in the districts.”
Something I feel should be pointed out about Haymitch, he was labeled as a problem tribute. As a result, almost his entire family was killed within a month of his victory. Then, he had to go through 23 more years of watching kids die.
11:25 Plus in the books, her arrows were bouncing off him! He had gotten a body armor that covered all but his face and hands!
Rue looks and asks exactly like my little sister so watching her die was tough.
i hope he continues this series 😭 it's been years and I'm still waiting for videos of everything great for the rest of the series
I love love the score for these movies. One of my fave movie scores. Rue's Farewell has me sobbing everytime I listen to it and fave is There are Worst Games to Play, which is played during the end credits of the last movie. James Newton Howard is amazing.
Have to agree with you on the casting of Katniss. Jennifer Lawrence doesn't really fit her physical character description but she played Katniss well.
Great video!
Lol i love your channel did you watch the Sins video before writing the wins?!?! cus I love how you cleared up some of there sins!! IE Trap, girl under weight, cake decorating your a LEGEND BROTHER!!
JesseTiv Compliments. *ding*
I honestly loved the use of a shaky camera in this movie, and the lack of sound in the very beginning of the game stuck with me a lot. It felt chaotic and scary in a way not a lot of other movies do
This movie was my first ever midnight showing at a movie theater! I was not disappointed, and Catching Fire was even better!! (:
you ever seen that movie holes
Ivan Rodriguez PLEASE DO HOLES
Please oh please do holes
Ivan Rodriguez planning on seeing it I've only read the book and it's amazing
Haven't seen the movie but I adored the book!
wait... you mean Gaping Holes Vol. 9?
I love that one!
7:26 this is the first movie i saw starring J Law and this is the moment I confirmed she is a great actor
I have another win for you. When Katniss volunteers to save her sister, we see her shove the guards away and declare herself the Tribute, but then we see the camera pan to her mother. Unlike with Prim when there was fear and pain at the thought of Prim being chosen, there is.....almost a look of respect and acceptance on her face. Like she understood WHY Katniss did what she did and she's OK with it. And if you pay attention in the second reaping, her mother is the FIRST to raise her hand in the gesture.
8:06
Well, that’s one way to get away fast!
Me running as fast as I can after watching this video: *ROLL*
Can we talk about how one of the songs was called "a wasp on her abdomen"
*Instantly drops whatever studying I'm doing to watch*
what other option is there anyway?
