I agree. FINALLY someone who agrees with me. This movie gets so much hate. But it still sits with a perfect "100" on my list. The music, the humor, the VILLAIN 😍 and last but not least the overall story make me love this movie so much. Such a feelgood movie....
What’s funny is how the entire movie is them coming up with this huge plan. However, the actual heists end up being less complicated and the plan is a huge show. In the first one, they walk into the vault and walk out with the money. Here, they learned who was carrying the egg and fake a fight to distract the security team in order for Linus to snatch it. The third one is definitely worth watching. I thought Ocean’s Eight with Sandra Bullock was fun.
It's so awesome that Soderbergh used a lot of shots and asthetics that are very european and inspired by european cinema. That makes it so special imo and why it's my favorite.
I watch MANY reaction videos! I can’t even tell you how much I’m enjoying watching you react to what may be my favorite movie franchise! You are super chill and right on top of the coolest things about the films! I look forward to enjoying tons more content from you! Thank you!
Honestly I think this is probably my favorite of the franchise, but I've got a soft spot for Catherine Zeta Jones. For other entries in the same vein as this film for you guys to react to, I'd like to suggest "The Score" starring Robert DeNiro, and "The Heist" starring Gene Hackman. Both are good "caper" films and have an absolutely amazing cast.
Warner Bros. really gave Steven Soderbergh $55 million to make an experimental heist comedy. Twelve is definitely the most ambitious of the trilogy, as well as one of the most radical genre films of the 21st century. The vibrant and unique cinematography ("Peter Andrews" has one hell of an eye lol), the infectiously jazzy score, the pitch perfect editing, the bizarrely convoluted yet throughly entertaining plot, and performances that are cooler than ice, make up a film unlike few others coming out of Hollywood.
That really is one of my favorite movies! What I can't believe is that it's almost 20 years old! I love the sountracks too! I was a DJ back in the 00's (up until 2014, actually) and I loved using those soundtracks for my WInter/Christmas/New Years Eve gigs! I love this movie especially because my daughter loves this one! She was only 4 when it came out but by the time she was 15 or so, we started sharing the Oceans films and she's a big fan now! Great movies!
My daughter watched the laser dance scene when she was 4 10 years ago. She's been doing that heel click before she goes upstairs to bed every night since 😂😂
@@clevelandcbi that’s not just any heel click! That’s a call back to the heel click that Charlie Chaplin made famous in the first half of the 20th century!
Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! Oh, how I love that Arianna loved this movie! You don't know how many reactors I've seen who just didn't get it. They're all like "Oh, it's an anti heist movie. It's not like the first one." And if it were like the first one they'd complain about it being too much like the first one. But Arianna got everything. She knew that Rusty and Isabel were still in love. She figured out that LaMarck was Isabel's father early on ( although she fell for the diversion for a minute. But that's cool). So yeah, kudos Arianna. You are officially cool now (in my book). Enjoy 13. It's a great final entry in this remarkable trilogy. Moviemaking at its best IMHO. Thanks for the great react and regards from Illinois!!! ✌&❤
Great reaction and looking forward to 13. After watching the first movie, which was just an awesome, great movie, one would probably think the sequels just can't possibly stand up to the first one, but I really enjoyed all three movies equally. Superb plots and direction, filled with the finest cast of actors a movie could ask for.
I like this film because its more of "con" movie than a "heist" movie. The actual heist was the bit in the train when they fight and that's it. The entire movie is the con because they even had cameras on them. Some cheese in the movie but it's done with style so it gets a pass for me. Can't wait for 13. I between that and 11 as my favorite of the series.
The laser field thing is a reference to Entrapment, where Catherine Zeta Jones played a thief who yoga’d her way through lasers. Who happens to also be in this movie.
I love the Ocean's movies! The theme is incredible! The cast, out of this world! Seeing these movies literally packed with so many stars, it can only remind me watching the USA basketball team. 🤣 (Such a random metaphor, yet so accurate!)
I felt O12 was the best of the three. The most interesting and fun plot and shooting locales. Loved every second of it. And the humor was off the charts of the three.
In the end LeMarc was truly the greatest thief in the world. The puppet master. All he really had to do was not correct the American in front of Toulour and tell Danny and Rusty when the egg was being moved. Everything else was done for him while he hung out waiting for both things he wanted back to be delivered to him.
"Aha...laser fields...well..." As the audience we get to see the cool smooth fun action, but I would like to hear his explanation to Danny. "...and then ANOTHER laser came by and I was all like 'woah' better dodge that!"
i dont know why they say 13 is the best. for me, dialogue-wise, i loved the 12. yes the twist wasnt sooo amazingly spectacular, but it doesnt have to be. to mechanics are always predictable, but human behaviour and outcome of good speech.. man
@Diegesis React nope, the only part in the script was when she was talking to the guys about the heist. If I remember correctly, it was kind of a spurr- of- the- moment thing. Plus, Bruce was also supposed to be Danny Ocean when they did Oceans 11, but pulled out because of scheduling, so the director probably thought it would be a fun easter egg.
12 is definitely one of my favorites in the franchise, right up there with **both** 11s. I don't like 13 that much, but I do like 8, with Sandra Bullock, so I hope you watch that one.
Yeah 13 was the one where I finally felt like they ran out of steam. It felt like they needed to force the ball to roll again and some of the cast felt a tiny bit phoned in. Was also sad to have no Catherine or Julia in it. 8's an entirely different team so we're probably not gonna watch it
A fantastic Cohen bro movie Intolerable Cruelty has both George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones. The movie by is an extremely hilarious comedy. A Cohen bros classic
The soundtracks are the John Williams to Star Wars part of the films. They’re so damn good! I listen to them in my day to day activities! David Holmes 👌🏻
Best reaction videos on the entire Internet! Ariana rules. Please try The Big Short, take a look at the cast, not your normal reaction video, but I think you would be great at it. Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and a whole host of others. Great movie.
My only problem with the movie was the great hall laser break dancing scene, they went to great lengths to tell us that the lasers were random but he danced through them in a choreographed dance!
Lol, he's not breakdancing. It's Capoeira. Brazilian martial art that combines a lot of different forms of movement, and a LOT of body strength, agility, and flexibility. It's actually kinda beautiful.
still have no idea why people hates this sequel its fucking simple and brilliant hahaha i mean first one was a masterpiece but this one is super chill and super entertaining
I don't mind the initial thoughts be left out if there is a discussion after. I have realized she is usually in the same clothes and hairstyle when she does the discussion. Always awesome! Are you guys in the buisness of moviesmovies? You had put more thought into oceans 11 than I ever had, but I understood as soon as you had said it. I always love the videos!
@@Diegesis That seems like a pretty vehement reaction. I don’t understand the hate. The intention may have been for it to be a money grab, but it’s really not a bad movie. It’s got a some great actors, and it’s a fun heist. Regardless, if you feel strongly about it, still watch the other two movies I recommended. “The Sting” in particular is a classic.
vehement? hate? i said it was a money grab and didnt have any of the same people that made me love the original trilogy. where's the hate? i'm just not interested in seeing someone else cosplaying as soderberg.
The first one was fantastic, but they, somehow, managed to improve beyond what, for me, was a perfect ten. This movie is a freaking masterpiece.
I agree. FINALLY someone who agrees with me. This movie gets so much hate. But it still sits with a perfect "100" on my list.
The music, the humor, the VILLAIN 😍 and last but not least the overall story make me love this movie so much.

The whole "Tess looks like..." gag is hilarious 😅
Watching Arianna react to this was just hilarious and was something I needed today. Can't wait for 13!
Oh, the Nose plays.
Definitely. She had me at her laugh at Rusty's hair products. Can't wait for 13!!!
There should be more discussion of how much Arianna is absolutely slaying this look
. . . .she knows, thats why there no discussion
We could say that every episode.
Saucy duck, are you serious, this is not a chanel about fashion, nobody cares what she was wearing, 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

The break-dancing Tolour was doing is Capoeira, a brazilian martial art.
She called it lame instead of learning what he was doing lol
@@AndyMatts44 no it wouldn't
It's so awesome that Soderbergh used a lot of shots and asthetics that are very european and inspired by european cinema. That makes it so special imo and why it's my favorite.
Yeah he basically made a European movie starring American actors, which is probably why American audiences didn't get it.
Exactly the same reason why this is my favourite too.
Absolutely my favorite Oceans movie. Always love your reactions!!!
I believe the Catherine Zeta Jones fall at the end was real. They left it in the because it was perfect timing.
Y'all be safe.
Oh can't wait! Excited for Thirteen too; that one's my favorite.
Actually that was Capoeira, not breakdancing..Capoeira is a martial art hidden inside a dance
Nobody fucking uses that in a fight, it is not a martial art.
@@HittokiriBattousai17 tell that to Lateef Crowder
Nevertheless, its use in the movie was cheesy.
It must be a new style because to the left was a boombox and big piece of cardboard to spin on.
Bah-nah-nuh-wayyyyy DANCE FIGHT!
I was so impressed with the soundtrack of this movie that the day after I saw it I went out & bought the CD.
Same 👍👍

If I'm not mistaken, Toulour's house in the movie is actually George Clooney's real house on Lake Como in Italy.
Nice to see Arianna having fun watching a movie for once. I've seen her cry too many times this past year xD
You HAVE to watch The Entrapment to appreciate the Lazer dance homage in this
These movies are so fun. Thank you for doing them!
👍👍 up for this movie and Arianna 💯
The laser dance music is called Thé à la Menthe, by La Caution. I love that song. Vincent Cassel (who plays Night Fox) suggested it himself.
Yeah looked it up when I was a boy after seeing the movie and had that song on my iPad shuffle lol
Watching movies with Arianna with better than watching movies for the first time

Catherine Zeta-Jones pioneered the "laser dance" in Entrapment, with Sean Connery.

Arianna has the absolute best reactions!
Okay. This is it. Arianna's reaction to the Oceans is what I need.
Idc what anyone says oceans 12 was beautiful, from the plot, to the soundtrack, to the setting, to Bruce Willis just being Bruce Willis. It’s timeless
if anyone knows how to navigate a lazer maze it's Catherine Zeta Jones..
I can't believe you never did Ocean's Thirteen
The audience didn't really show up for this series unfortunately

He's not break dancing . He's doing Capoeira Brasileno. The French actor whom playing the rose of the Fox has been a Capoeira practitioner.
I believe he was doing some Capoeira, when you asked about the break dancing.
Poor Linus being teased.
I'm sure someone has already commented, but the break dancing is capoeira
