Cool DLC so far, but they could some more faction dont you think? Like the client provinces of the Romans and satrapies of the Sassanids, but in general is a very good DLC for me, since i play Rome 2 a lot
I dont care much about being super unique and stuff, but about factions, like i mentioned the client provinces of rome and sassanid satrapies For me i like to play as these small, no one cares states, like Colchis and Lusitani tribe and conquer the whole world
The camera angle changes are far too abrupt to get a sense of where we are looking, I think. It's offputting and detracts from the suspenseful ambiance that such a solemnly narrated introduction is suposed to create.
nah the third century is more connected to antiquity, only with the reforms of Diocletian and Constantine we enter the late antiquity and therefore in the Attila theme

The REAL intro for all Empire Divided factions:
*"ROME! Hear me, for we are in CRISIS!..."*
I always loved how everyone was casually walking past him not even giving a damn
All those fancy trailers and they couldn't give this DLC any actual cinematic intro?
There is an intro for Empire Divided, it’s just that I only cover the Advisor intros which is why you don’t see it here
Ah, good to know. In other videos I saw, the Octavian/Imperator Augustus intro played... but maybe that was a bug that has been fixed.
trenchwire That's why I loved Attila
@@BlueDebut You mean the 5 intros that started with the exact same carbon copy line about blood and smoke and red horses. Yeah, no thanks.
Cool DLC so far, but they could some more faction dont you think? Like the client provinces of the Romans and satrapies of the Sassanids, but in general is a very good DLC for me, since i play Rome 2 a lot
what further factions would you suggest
personally i don't see any that would warrant being a unique faction
I dont care much about being super unique and stuff, but about factions, like i mentioned the client provinces of rome and sassanid satrapies
For me i like to play as these small, no one cares states, like Colchis and Lusitani tribe and conquer the whole world
Does Armenia count?
Yukio Shinmon Playing as the Sassanid satrapies would be cool
Funny how Gallic Rome got its independance but must discourage Lusitanian and Hispanian independances!
"Independance" it was more like a sesion/revolt.
The camera angle changes are far too abrupt to get a sense of where we are looking, I think. It's offputting and detracts from the suspenseful ambiance that such a solemnly narrated introduction is suposed to create.
Good vid. Thanks!
They should have just put this on Attila.
rome 2 has more players so it makes less financial sense to make it an attila DLC
@@Guythatyoudontknow Sure, thats why they never bothered to fix Attila completely
nah the third century is more connected to antiquity, only with the reforms of Diocletian and Constantine we enter the late antiquity and therefore in the Attila theme
gallic rome is the best faction to play as imo
Same game, cookie cutter changes. A damn shame Creative Assembly keeps putting out DLC with no real new features.
TheLionheartist Age of Charlemagne was totally unique. CA have good ideas but lack on the delivery.
So this is basically Total War: Atilla's main campaign?
how so
a 150 years before attila
