My favorite books from Stephen king were needful things, the institute, and firestarter. They’re all pretty big books compared to pet semetary so they’re a bit slow at some parts but so much crazy stuff happens in them. (Carrie was also really good if you want to read a short one)
Hi Katie!! Omg I've missed seeing your content~ (Life's not been so nice, so I've been behind on my booktube content-😭) Also, you're going to Costa Rica?? Omg i hope you have a safe trip!! Plus, thank you for the news book for my tbr🫡✨️ Oh, and ik It's late, but.. congratulations on your engagement!!🥹🤍 I'm so happy for youu jajsabs
Just finished reading a new cozy fantasy book "The Teller of Small Fortunes" by Julie Leong. If you love "Legends and Lattes" by Travis Baldree, you will fall in love with "The Teller of Small Fortunes". Totally heart warming and soul comfort after finished the last chapter.💗
I already commented this in the last reading vlog, I would love for you to read The Shining. It's the best Stephen King so far, but I've read maybe 5 (?) 😅 I also like the movie to it a lot, it is so iconic on its own. But I hate to say it: the book is so much better lol you get some insights you wouldn't get in the movie and the charactes aren't as flat. Also I think only in the book, and not in the movie, I really understood what the 'shining' is really about. Happy reading!
Hi Katie! Was there a video where you talk about why you are going to Costa Rica or is it a secret? 😊 My favorite books last month were The Twisted Ones (I ofc love everything T Kingfisher writes) and The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennet, which is a fantasy murder mystery with amazing world building!
No you're so right I never really explained!! I'll cover it in my next video :) I am so glad you enjoyed the twisted ones and you have influenced me to pick up the tainted cup that sounds amazing!
(Pet Sematary spoilers!!) I just finished Pet Sematary today, and I had similar feelings. but something held me back from loving it- like, imo King needs a better editor. and I really hated how "Gage" was written after coming back?? like, that whole conversation with Jud kinda ruined it for me, if that makes sense?!
Great wrap up 📚🎃🍁🍂🍄
I love Salems Lot and Four Seasons
Oooo I think my favorite book this month was either Long Live Evil or A Dark and Secret Magic.
It's old, but The Shining was great....

Drop everything and read Salem’s Lot. One of the very best vampire novels ever written.
On it 🫡
