They thought it was an optical illusion, a trick done with smoke and mirrors, a hologram - and then they spotted the red in the costumes and realised it was something like the original younger BABYMETAL performing along with BABYMETAL. It did not take the people there very long to recognise who these three girls were, two of them were from Sakura Gakuin, the third from Amuse kids (I really should take a note of and remember their names). They appeared again at the concerts in Yokohama in April where they performed 'Karate'. It seems they are now being billed as Metalverse and they will be the opening act at Summer Sonic in Japan where BABYMETAL will also be playing later the same day ... but I really don't know what is going on, so I'm just waiting to see what happens next.

They're: Miko Todaka (16), SuMetal's mirror, former SG alumni, she's from Hiroshima just like Suzuka. Sakia Kimura (14), MoaMetal's mirror, former SG alumni. Kokona Kato (14), she's part of Amuse Kids division and Ciao Girl's just like MoaMetal was before enter SG, she was pointed out to enter SG but sadly she couldn't because it was disbanded in 2021, she's very charismatic and she got 13 when doing this performance, her birthday is around the same date MoaMetal bday. Fans were really surprised with this when performing live, there was a lore intro but no one was ready just like you. After this some fans put them a name personally I don't like but now they got this official code name, thanks to the Fox God. They will be performing next month opening Summer Sonic Festival and there's already a couple of shorts in the official social media of Metalverse separate from BM with another music in the background, we don't know if this is part of a new track for them or just another possible intro song before performing, OTFGK. I was at Makuhari for this concert and we had no idea what the hell was going on when Chibimetal appeared. The way they did it with the lighting was very clever; they put all our attention on Babymetal and blacked out the rest of the arena so we didn't see Chibimetal move into position, then the lights came up and they were just there!
