I honestly prefer to not be able to replicate the ratios of mixes I use. Like, it's really unrealistic for everybody in the army to be at the exact same level of wear and tear on their gear, both of which naturally alter the colours of everything.
I resin print my models so I'll usually also make the models in a unit ever so slightly different sized ones as well. Like in a 5 man squad I'll have 2 guys at 100% size and rest 3 will be random mix of either 95% size or 105% size. It's only slightly noticeable but it makes me really happy for some reason, like the guys look like living beings and not identical clones of each other.

EDIT: "Sepaphim Sepia" made me double-take so hard I had to get up and check my own paint bottle to make sure it wasn't a Mandela Effect.
