- This gang of 14 minis took me all of a couple of hours, and to be hinest I'm pretty happy with it. I'm certainly no expert painter, but I figured I'd share my typical processes when I go about my regular business of smashing a hobby project out!

I think for my tastes, i would have kept the typhoid corrosion on the skin, but kept it off of the bandages, clothes, and weapons. It gives the whole model a look that they are sandy instead of full of boils and warts. But good technique, whenever i get back into painting, i'll keep the techniques in mind.
Just wow. Well done.
Great work on these guys!
Absolutely fantastic! 🎉😊
These look awesome. I for sure will try a couple of your techniques next time I'm painting mini. Thank you.
Wonderful tutorial! Thanks for sharing! 😀
Great tutorial! Thanks
So cool!
Beautiful work bud, absolutely love it!
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks great - will try incorporate these techniques with my next batch of walkers
AMAZING!
they look awesome
I feel the lightest bright silver drybrushing on the bases would 100% complete the look, but I do like how the models turned out a lot
Would love to see another collection showcase from you since you've expanded!
Ok cool I'll do one at some point for sure. I did sell off a lot of the gangs I wasn't using though 😅
Amazing!!!😍
Thank you!
Awesome looking minis. Love the grimdark look, the wow factor to effort ratio is unbeatable. If you're using a bunch of the texture paint definitely look at the Vallejo and AK Interactive texture pastes, same as the GW product but much better value since they come in big tubs for almost the same price. Also consider giving the dirty down products a look, pricey, but excellent results for rust (and other) effects.
I like it!
My mates & I are starting Mordheim soon, so I’ll definitely try some of these techniques 👍🏼
Those minis went together pretty well nice kitbashing. As far as the painting goes i am speechless lol it takes me an entire night to do a single mini!
Thanks dude! It's all about workflow and cracking it out all at once
they looked a bit lack luster before the streaking grime. but oh boy did they look amazing after
Thanks
I thin kthe part I find the most nuts about this is its almost entirely done with shade paints! Despite that, it still looks detailed jut a bit faded! I really wish I had an army I could try something like this out on!
These look amazing! Almost exactly the kind of style I am looking to create for my Mordheim possessed warband. Do you seal the miniatures with a varnish before applying the AK Streak and Grime, or just at the very end?
I don't use varnish. Everything I did is in the video except for a touch of green contrast paint on a couple of guys and a gold visor
This is spot on! As i paint my new gang. My question is how can you be so simultaneously British and Kiwi at the same time? Clearly a man of my own heart but whats the story there? Now living in Oz?
Yep from Cambridge originally, lived in London a long time. 7 years in NZ and now Oz for however long. NZ has my heart and is my real home though tbh
I feek like you, i have a lot of difficulty to paint something with a lot of saturated colour, amd it tooks me a long time before finding about john blanche...
Now i found what i like to do and i work with a lot of similarities than you😅. Except that i prefer ratling grime over seraphim sepia to shade my mini and i work a lot with enamel too.
I really enjoy your video and will look for other 😁
Great video buddy. The new nuln and aggrax suck. Use Army painter washes with a drop of medium.
Thank you!
@@wellywoodwargaming i had a bit of a breakdown when i first realised they had changed it.
Really great! What about varnish I wonder? Don't care for it?
Personally, I don't bother but I can understand why people do. When I've varnished them before, I've usually had slightly negative results to the paint jobs underneath. I handle my minis fairly carefully generally too, so it's not a huge problem
@@wellywoodwargaming Even non-spray varnish? I always found painted-on citadel varnish was good but maybe I should let go of my notion to always varnish...
I am a big fan of "grim dark" style of painting, but I don't like going overboard to the point it looks like an Nurgle army. I am more of "wear and tear" type of style.
Each to their own eh! 😁
You reckon a House Delaque would work ok with this..?
Definitely! My own delaque we're a similar scheme
@@wellywoodwargaming awesome! Just got my copy of 2nd edition this week. Want to learn and play asap. Had my Delaque box sealed for 2 years. Cheers for the message. Keep up the great work.
