As someone who grew up in a 1920s craftsman fixer upper, I can attest to the fact that painting trim is sometimes the best route. My dad painstakingly stripped, sanded, and refinished all the trim that had seen better days. Restoring that mill work took almost 15 years. It is a forever process. Your Reno looks amazing!

It’s a process worth waiting for though- looking forward to our kitchen reveal one day! I am about to start getting estimates for a big remodel of my kitchen, dining and living rooms. My dream was always to move out of the city and get a farmhouse with a bit of land, but don’t think it will happen, so I am ready to put money into this house now. Wood floors, opening plan, new windows- the works! May have to be in stages but I am excited to finally get it to how I want it.
