The animation is 10/10 best it has ever been! Loved this movie and this scene! I loved how Salacia possession of Murderface was like a horror movie! So well done!
The animation in the exorcism scene is easily the best in the entire series, like it *had* to be good or it wouldn't have been nearly as effective. Like you see him thrashing and the subtle desperation on the band's faces because they're worried they'll straight up drown him trying to save him. I never thought anything would top the Venture Bros finale for me this year (and I still fucking love it) but if anything had to I'm glad it was this finale. Tho I have mixed feelings about his body flying off like a bottle rocket when Salacia exits his body, mostly cuz it was a tad funny.
GOODDD I love all the animation especially in the bathroom scene!!! I love how much horror / body horror imagery there was, we Murderface fans were FED GOOODDD in this movie!! I can't stop listening to "Deadface," that whole scene had me almost tearin' up and it's such a gorgeous ending.. I wish they had whole season with this budget and dedicated to his possession, I can't even image!
Water is one of the most important elements in Dethklok songs. Water God, Murmaider, Blood Ocean also Nathan speaks with water beasts in his dreams - the whales. With water Murderface was cleaned from Selacia. I also listened to Galaktikon II and read its lyrics. It's a logical end of Metalocalypse without animation. The scenes where they hold him under the water and Nathan trying to do CPR reminds me of song Exitus.
Thank you for posting this, I love the animation during the ritual scene it's so well done and crisp to me. I love how Murderface got a big part of the movie (since he is one of my faves, Pickles being the other)
The leitmotif playing for Salacia or when anything really cool and supernatural happens is really good I wonder if the song has a name in the soundtrack.

I have never seen Skwisgaar be so menacing, and it is absolute gold.

I remember people thinking on Galaktikon II, The Agenda was Salacia taking control of Murderface and Exitus was Dethklok freeing him from Salacia
