I am really loving all your videos! They certainly align with our beliefs and values. They have been challenging me to take the plunge in areas that the Lord has already been placing on my heart. I really appreciate you both and your beautiful family
Katie, I like these motivational new videos style. May God continue to give you wisdom and strength. You have so much energy and inspiration, it’s amazing. Praise to God!
We will be doing this this weekend! My 6 year old has been asking me all week to teach her to knit, so this was perfect timing! I'll be showing my 4 year old as well 😊
This is soooooo wonderful. I love the intro and I’m so glad you are back! The GIADC (esp the new mini series) has already helped me so much be motivated to teach my kids skills that will benefit their little brains rather than sit in front of a screen 😢 (which we’ve done too much of!) My kids (9 & 11) have been begging to learn to crochet since I do and I just haven’t had it in me. But now I see I can teach them and my 4 and 7 yo too! I’m going for it! Thank you!!
wow how cool Katie! so encouraging to see your kids liking it and doing a good job at it! I know how to knit but didn't think I could teach my 2.5 year old anytime soon. now its on my radar! thank you for always inspiring us :)
I love love love this. I started knitting recently and my husband started cross-stitching. We love being able to relax with it but my 5 and 3 year old want to do something for themselves. They started “embroidery” with thin yarn, tapestry needles and those small plastic grids, but it is was more complicated to set set up than knitting .
I have been wondering how to teach my grandchildren to knit. I tried showing a 5 year old but it was too complicated for her. Hopefully going to see her soon now she's 7, so I will use all your tips!
Thank you! I have an 8yo at church and my own kids who have asked me to teach them. Also what's the pattern and yarn for the beautiful sweater you're wearing please 😍
Love this! I'm a huge knitter and am so excited to teach my child to knit! One note: you mentioned to get a worsted weight yarn, but that weight is a little thinner than what it looks like you are using. It looks like the yarn you used is a chunky/bulky weight.
Awesome, thank you so much! My 4-year-old daughter has been wanting to learn how knit, but I don't know how...so now we can learn together. :) One question, do you have any tips for if a child (like my daughter) is left-handed? Would you still teacher her to hold the needles, yarn, etc. the same way, or should she switch hands? Thank you again!
Hey there! I crochet and knit and chose to teach my 8 year old how to crochet first. I think you’d probably be better off with starting what you are most familiar with as the teacher!
Love your new style of documenting and inspiring us!!

If you don’t understand it, put the playback speed as 0.25, so easy to understand what’s happening now

Lovely video! What brand of yarn did you get?
How long are the needles?
I’m personally more familiar with crocheting. Do you think knitting is easier or better? Just curious. Loved your intro!

6min mark is where the tutorial starts
Thank you!!😩
Your intro is cute but to long. Almost 60 seconds, why?
