Hello Balasz, greetings from Florida. Your video caught my eye because of the Sauer. My Father had a very nice 16 gauge side by side shotgun, and he also happened to be Hungarian, from Budapest. I recognized Esztergom, too, from when I was there a few years ago. Thanks for the video.
You and I are of the same cut of cloth. I love to hunt with the rifles that are over 150 years old. I also like using older double barreled external hammered shotguns, some of which are about the same age. A lot of the time I use my favorite Winchester Model 1873 in 38/40 caliber, it is a fine old weapon and is very capable. My favorite shotgun for using in the field is an old 16 gauge double barrel made by L.C. Smith.

@@georgesakellaropoulos8162 Well, but not successful, I saw many deer and some nice bucks but weather confounded my hunt, a high gusty wind followed me until the last day when Snow and fog set in, like horses the open range deer don't like the wind and were on high alert. The Snow would have been great sooner but on the last day it was really dumping and by 10 am I was thinking more and more about being able to get out & less and less about finding deer. Balázs, what a true connection and understanding of nature you have, in the spirit of the true old hunters. Here in Canada, most game worth hunting is big (White Tail Deer, Moose, Brown, Grizzly and Black Bear), and there is slowly a growing interest again in black powder, traditional hunting. I myself am hoping, next year, to go hunting for deer (sadly, we have no wild boar this far North) with my 1849 Fruwirth Kammerbusche that you helped me identify a while back. I have found a great load that gives me 2 inch accuracy at 100 meters and made proper bullets, with my load of Goex 60g FFG and a greased original .712 inch diameter 1849 pattern compression bullet from a custom mold. Very happy, and since the season opens early here in Canada for "traditional antique" hunting, I hope to get something delicious. All my family enjoys wild meat, and so it will be well enjoyed. Thank you for inspiring me to pursue this and once again, an excellent video!
