I hope he never stops putting these out...
Gene is a legend.
Sad Hunk is the soundtrack to my 2021 life. Love it.!!!
Can't take you with me...man, it fit so well with this style. What a different sound
going to patiently wait for a full length version of "Old Man (Look at My Balls)"
You can hear the history of nashville in that steel guitar.
but he’s a guy from Minneapolis who doesn’t try to play like a traditional pedal steel player…I think it’s more like the sound of an incredible musician who has dedicated his life to his craft and being an artist with a unique voice.
@@martinluthierking yea because when I hear a steel guitar I think of Minneapolis.
Love our guy
I had no idea who the session musicians were - but after listening I looked them all up and I'm honored to have been able to hear them play and learn more about them. Absolute legends who have played on countless classic tracks. Amazing to see session pros at work.
I always pop in when I see these, fully intending to just check it out and watch later, yet here I am again watching the whole thing and now I'm late for work!
Pure Nashville smoothness!
also how the shit does this only have 2.7k views !?
Well, dear Alfie hired country music royalty to grace his fabulous songs . . . and BINGO! Of course! Just totally wonderful. Why isn't this guy Bahama's HUGE yet? I don't get it.
