I dont mean it in a derogatory way i saw a recent interview where he answered a similar question by saying its because he has never really had a “hit song” he goes on to explain basically what the other person on this thread has said . I definetly agree that fame isnt even close to being as important as being able to express yourself artistically and the “peace” that would be a result . I just hope that he is able to continue to monetize his career. Because (in my opinion) he (along with his bandmates are creating some of the most unique interesting , fun, and honest music out there . If i had my way “hits” wouldnt matter as much as solid comprehensive ablums coupled with ability to play live shows with fresh energy and creativity . I know he has had alot of success and is probably in the top 5% of gigging musicians in north america as far as that goes . I just put him in an iconic category , on par with really anyone out there in their prime . Im obviously a superfan and do know that musical taste is relative. Anyways long response i know, i just hope bahamas are still putting out great music in 20 years .
Who would think, a untidy kids room would be a great acoustic location. Maybe I should encourage my kids to not clean up their room for jam session with my friends.
May be my favorite album yet. Something really humble speaks through your words... the end is the best... forgiveness. It is all about forgiveness. I do believe that's true
This video really sold the new album for me... Can't stop listening. It's almost as good as that video from SXSW Bahamas did years ago. Kudos to CBC.. and that kid on the drums!
Can an artist of Afie's dimensions give more than this? I don't think so. Talk about an open heart. Talk about sharing humanity. It's true, the only path to dignity is humility. Wow! So healing and inspiring.
Who woudk think a kids room would make such a great acoustic location for a jam session. I guess i will encourage my kids to leave their room untidy for my next jam session with my buddy.
Love the new album man. Hope to see you sometime again in the Netherlands. I saw you perform in rotterdam a few years back. Great show, such a nice vibe. All the best
I just knew his music by George ezra since a year ago and I must say..... I love "Sad Hunk". Now I love his music and it makes me calm and with good vibes.🤗🤗🤗✨👍🏼
Recent deep diving into all that he has online. Unreal musicality, reminds me of Randy Newman, I wonder if he’d be cited as an influence? Hits me right in the feels as the kids (don’t) say
How is this guy not more famous ? I say it every album .
How famous are you thinking he should be?
@@cbcmusic that's true... Fame does mean nothing. Love, happiness and peaceful soul is the most important thing you can ever have and in live.

Tight as a drummer can be!
Seeing two shows of his back to back in a month. Smooth mother*ucker
Less Than Love with his daughters has me in tears. Really beautiful and real.

I've always thought Afie was at his best when it was just him and his guitar. This was such an awesome video!
And one heck of a rhythm section!
These songs are so good, I’m playing it for my newborn, and it seems like someone is cutting onions near me. So good!
Love that!
So gorgeous Afie, felt so special being invited into your family this way ❤️❤️
How beautiful Afie’s voice is with the birds chirping in the background during half your love. Just perfect.
"I'm only dreamin-watchout for that mic"... ahhhh that was brilliant. As a tired parent in lockdown I felt that moment! :D

This video will be a treasure for Afie and his wife when the kids are grown and have their own families. Don’t forget to live in the moment.
This made me so stupidly happy.
Thank you.
Cheers! Pass it on!
I think I would like to have a beer with Afie. Seems like a cool dude.
Just go to a Bahamas show. It's just like having a beer with the guy...especially if you have a beer :)
you mean a near-beer
What a great short concept film to accompany the album. Wonderfully appeals to your core demographic (like me)
Great songs again. Love the Australia cushion. Saw you at the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne. Go well.

The kid is killing it!!!
Still cool to me, Bahamas. Dope set !
Who woudk think a kids room would make such a great acoustic location for a jam session. I guess i will encourage my kids to leave their room untidy for my next jam session with my buddy.
That kid is right in the pocket! :) Well done youngin! Oh and Afie was good too ! :p
The kid's got chops!

This video brings me so much joy! Thank you for making this 🌎 a better place with this beautiful music. Cheers!
I love the call and response from the bird in the background at 1:40 as Afie sings "I could fly on one good wing"
These are always the best videos, just Afie jamming!
It's hard to get more raw than this!
Lovely garden. And nice gams, Afie.
Please come to salt lake City Utah. You have such depth.
Such a vibe.
Muchas gracias. I use to have those same ikea rugs
Beautiful garden.

Little man is in the pocket!
Agreed!
What is that tuning on "Not Cool Anymore"?
Ned Flanders got cool.
Okily dokily!
too accurate
I sleep with that same Afie pillow
Who the heck is that kid??
my friend was looking for good beginner drum songs to learn...
The kid has a Beatles shirt on!
Who am I to ask him why and make him feel so small?
Man, is it dusty in here?
is there an even younger kid playing bass that we cant see in Trick to Being Happy?? :P
That kids pocket tho
Great acoustics, song writing, love the message and the sound a true artist...not fond of the mustache....please...
You call it "near-beer"?!?! I call it "no-beer"... Am I saying it wrong?!
Is that little kid CGI or real? Way too tight as a drummer to be real....
The whole thing is great!
