Thanks for further clarifying how to populate the Romance Bingo Card (that it's very flexible, e.g. a 'RomCom' could be a film adaptation, you can rename a suggested category in a square with one of the subgenres listed on the 2nd page, etc). Very helpful for this first-time BC bingo player.😊 Loved the video footage of the Yale buildings' stone carvings, especially the ones that looked like little men (not gargoyles)--they were so cool. How lovely that you can just stroll around New Haven together when the mood strikes you (or a NY earthquake details your biblioadventure)! I learn something every time I listen to you guys--I'm curious about Morning Pages...It sounds like a worthwhile exercise to look into.

Great video adventure! One of my sons lives in West Haven, so it was fun to see the familiar train station and surrounding New Haven/Yale campus. I’m currently listening to The Covenant of Water and enjoying it!

I’m glad you’re safe. Thanks for posting the Yale footage. Those architectural details are such a treat to see. I’ve read 3 books by Monica Wood and loved them all, so I’ve already pre-ordered “How to Read a Book.” My current read is Hanif Abduraquib’s “There’s Always This Year.”

Love Moby Dick on audio read by Frank Muller. Love Frank Muller (now deceased) best narrator. Love seeing you both once a week. so sad I've missed the Salon the last few times, but hope to take part in the next. Currently reading a backlist--The House of Special Purpose by John Boyne and The collected stories of Shirley Hazzard which are great. If you are still reading short stories Hazzard should not be missed.

Pride and Prejudice was on my syllabus for English literature when I was 15. I fell in love with the book and 45 years later I still reread it when I’m depressed/stressed/unwell.
