    Kishane can go much faster and he will. He has hinted that he will start practising the 200 Metres. Once he starts running 200M, 100M will be so easy for him if he wants to go all out. Let's give Kishane some respect because no great runner has actually medalled in their first Olympics.

      Do you even know the effects of shin splints. You want to question a coach with 130 plus world and olympic medals won by his athletes.
      Making olympic champions is real easy right. Lol lmao.

    I see Oblique seville experiencing the same problem and i keep saying that if you cannot go through the rounds at the Olympics or the World Championships , then you will not be able to obtain a global medal. It is extremely important for athletes to be able to advance through the rounds in order to be successful at these events . Steven Francis knows that Kishane has this problem so he tries not to pressure him to run fast all the time , but to conserve as much energy as possible which would reduce the possibility of him getting injured

    Kishane a our youth but at the same time I can't understand why people talking world record when kishane is yet to even run a 9.6...notice to everyone 9.58 is a abnormal time,this time can easily end an athlete career

  • @ianstewart9209
    @ianstewart9209 27 днів тому +1

    His health is always going to be a problem and this could prevent him from achieving his goals as an athlete. If it is a one off race , then it should be ok, but for getting an Olympic medal or a World Championship medal, that could pose a problem

  • @trackuniverse9121
    @trackuniverse9121 28 днів тому +1

    That habit of shutting down around 80m before the finish line is really a problem. I can understand why Francis would instruct him to do so. He did it as a means to prefend injuries, obviously. But it ended up backfired at Kishane at the Olympic where it matters most, cause when he tried to run the full 100, he then tightened up and let Noeh catch him at the line. He really needs to start doing some 200. It will surely help him with his endurance in the 100 💯💯

    A lot of things happened to Kishane in the finals and and shutting it down at 70 meters is not one of them the length of ìt took for the race to start the green card he got he was struggling with injury the crowd nervousness and yes he did tightened up

    Its a delicate balancing act for him in particular because of his injury history & propensity thus protecting himself from the injury will always be a consideration. On the other hand not running through the full 100m is a huge issue for him in tight races such as the Olympics finals and as you have laid it out. His future is going to be very enthralling.

    Jamaicans have the orbit of slowing down before reaching the line when they should blow to the line if Usain did that in Beijing Olympics in the 100meter he could have ran 9,second easy

    Top sprinters shutting down is nothing new, but that does not mean he would shut down in every race.
    You dont seem to realise this is the first season he has been able to train fully, its a process and hes was still not ready for a full 100m and his coach was getting him there.
    I think kishane wanted to please you all and wanted to do so great he did not execute his race so he didnt win unchallenged, in other words he tried too hard .
    Lets see where that got him his worst nightmare, his shin issues are back and he could not run anymore races for the year. When his shins are acting up he cannot train he cannot become race ready and is at risk for other injuries because of this.
    Every one loves the glory of success without realising limitations of existing conditions. Hopefully the maestro steven will be able to get his shins back under control if not you will not see kishane next year.
    I have no doubt he can go faster but let steven do his thing he knows what hes doing . He has 130 plus championships and olympic medals won by his athletes. Let the maestro do his thing and stop going on imaginary journeys.
    Elaine left she nowhere only steven got her achiles under control and outside of her in the last 15 years only a us 400m hurdler have achiles issues and won gold medals. And shelly she now 2 years injured with knee issues from hill training. Go figure it out. Making champions is not easy and maintaining champions is just as hard.
    Lay off, give it time it will happen.
