- Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer has furiously blasted Gary Lineker after he referred to the October 7th attacks as ‘the Hamas thing’.
In an interview on Mehdi Hasan’s Mehdi Unfiltered programme, the Match Of The Day presenter said: "I can’t think of anything that I’ve seen worse in my lifetime. The constant images of children losing their lives day in, day out.
"Now obviously we all know October 7 happened, and the Hamas thing, but the minute you raise your voice against what they’re now doing there, you get accused of being a supporter of Hamas."
Julia responded to Lineker’s comments: “Are you effing kidding me Gary? The Hamas thing! What is he talking about?”

I cancelled Gary years ago. I simply switch off when he is on any build up to a game, and switch on again when its kick off time. Easily done. Oh, and the only time I've watched MOTD in recent years, was when he was suspended and there were no commentary. It was marvellous.
