I am 💯 getting a new frontier Pro4x in the next 2 years or so. Waiting to them to 30-32k average market value. These trucks are so freakin good looking. I love the fact that it has a simple V6 tried and true. The transmission is very good also(same transmission in the new Z and the Aston Martin DBX i believe). You can swap the titan front suspension stuff unto it. The aftermarket is picking up for these. Overall I think this truck in the next 4-5 years is gonna be an unbelievable deal. Also congrats Chris on the new special edition, so nice to see Nissan honoring you for your loyalty and dedication to the brand.
While I will at some point be in the market for a midsize, I’m keeping the frontier on my list. Crazy to me that it is the only vehicle in the class that’s naturally aspirated.
I bought a loaded pro4x (missing sun roof, I don't care putting on a roof rack, and leather seats, honestly I like the cloth more) with 10k miles it had a scuff or two but looks mint. $37k, If you went a 22 with a little more miles you could easy get your $30-33k mark.
The race truck has a Titan swapped front suspension, that's where the extra track width came from. Also gives more travel. It's not the same front suspension as what's on the street truck with the Nismo UCAs
So cool, everyone sleeps on these trucks becauseit isn'ta tacoma lol. I really miss my frontier. I had a 2019 SL 4X4 i did a small lift and some tires and that thing was amazing off road. A fine video on a GREAT truck! And a modest lift is often all one needs on modest trails! I own a 2019 PRO4 X with an Old Man Emu lift - Actual: 1-3/4" front and 2-3/4" rear - it sets level when towing or loaded with overland gear.
Please tell me you beat the Honda Ridgline. They raced a class for 3 years because they would be the only truck in class so it was a guaranteed win. Such a chump move on their part. Huge win for you guys. Hell yeah
I found a manual 2019 TRD pro with around 70k miles on it. It has a lift and a snorkel on it, which was super tempting as I'm trying to make an overlander. But then I started giving a closer eye to the Nissans. For the same money as that toyota I got a 2023 pro4x with 10k miles... I live in Ohio and we use salt. Those 3+ years make a difference.
