@@PrestonsThoughts I read somewhere that the top out compared to other silent switches is louder.. that there is no silencing mechanism going up and the bottom out is only dampened.
do these hit led on north facing led pcb? also HAIMU is the manufacturer of the wuquekey , there are the haimu whisper which are similar but the wuque ones seem to have better QC and the stem has a bit better of a design.
Have you tried Topres before? If so are they comparable? I often hear people.tell that U4t silents are one of the closest topre feeling Mx switch available
Question, would this be as fast as speed silver cherry mx? In addition, you mentioned it was already lubed, and it doing a good job, sounds good! And does it work on gingko 65 with GMK keys? Thanks!
that would be the tactility part of the stem raking the leaf. His palm was also scraping the mat the keyboard was on so you heard some of that as well.
@@PrestonsThoughts This is very interesting to me. I have some U4s here and I really don't like the mushy bottom-out. Looking forward to comparing them once my shipment of the WS Silent Tactiles arrives.
@@PrestonsThoughts hey I used to bite them like that, I get it, tried to quit and failed many times. Get a fidget ring, use some clear bitter nail polish and heal your cuticles. It’s worth it!

does shorter travel distance make it like lower actuation force needed? What range would it be? Thanks!
Basically half the price of Boba U4's. I'm going to try them.
Go for it!
Preston, I know it's been a while since these came out but did you find the top out sound to be loud?
Not in my opinion but loud is very subjective so it could be for you

oh dang these are really quiet. caught me off guard haha
I know right! Lol

Solid review! I presume there’s more Woo-Chieh stuff in the queue as well?
One more switch review! Their silent linears

Hope you could also do a comparison between the WS silent linears with the Bobagums

Prob not as fast as speed silvers and it should work as long as the keyboard is hotswap and 5 pin compatible
It sounds kind of scratchy? Like something is chafing before you bottom out, but maybe it's just the audio 😅

are the silent linears good? also, what key caps are those? i've been trying to find caps that are white with green lettering
Yes they are! It's the British racing green keycap set very nice set definitely recommend
hello! i'm just curious can you list your keeb specs, i rlly wanna know
It's just a stock TES68 with lubed stabilizers and racing green keycaps :)
@@PrestonsThoughts ahh ok tyy
between the u4 and the ws tactile, which one is quieter?
I thought these were a bit quieter but they are about the same
what shape of tactile is this? P or D?
Are they long stems? Can they be used with cherry profile keycaps while north facing?
Silent + long pole doesn't really work together.
Do these have a mushy bottom out like other silent switches?
Nope!
@@PrestonsThoughts This is very interesting to me. I have some U4s here and I really don't like the mushy bottom-out. Looking forward to comparing them once my shipment of the WS Silent Tactiles arrives.
Hope you like them! To me they didn't feel mushy so hopefully the same goes for you
What kind of this tactility
Is it no pre travel like holypanda
Or the light tactile like ergo clear with a little pre travel?
no pre travel!
Will these fit in Outemu boards like Bobas will?
You should try the haimu silent switches
Maybe I'll check them out!
Aren't they the same? Same manu Haimu
They have a similar approach of design without dampeners, using a flexible plastic approach!
Does relubing improve the switch smoothness significantly? Thinking about it
Haven't tried that unfortunately
Would you say this is a medium tactile or heavy? Sharp or round?
Medium and to me the bump is an in betweener as it isn't super sharp but not super round either
@@PrestonsThoughts thank you!
It's pronounced "Woo-Ch-Way"
Nice switches and review but please: 😅 Stop bitting your nails !
Sorry it's stress lol!
@@PrestonsThoughts hey I used to bite them like that, I get it, tried to quit and failed many times.

I'll try my best!
