This show has been such a comfort to me at my lowest points. I’m currently in the process of trying to be better and improve my perception of myself but whenever I dip I come back to this show. And ik it’s not the most iconic of scenes in the show but the scene with Todd and Princess Caroline where Todd tells her she can do anything and that ‘the only way out is through’. And idk I really needed to hear that at the time I watched it.
I messed up like Bojack, I pushed away the one person that you could say I halfway tolerated. And now like Todd they left. And I don't know how to be better or fix this.
I used to be really scared of these shows when I was little. I knew I wanted to feel accepted by society, and I felt lonely when I was a child. I started sleeping around with lots of boys and men and never felt like I wanted to myself or stay committed, and I never felt right about anything. I've never slept around that much, but I'm 31, I never gave myself to anyone, but I would say I slept around a little. I really like this show, because I've been really lonely, stole some pets before, and tried to sleep around I almost killed an animal before. I don't know what's gonna happen to my life, but I'm going to be alone for the next 60 years in my life. I don't like posting on other peoples feeds, but I definitely feel like a Bojack to other people... being overly sensitive, not having a partner commit to my life, messing around with couples and feeling obligated to fit in crowds... I can really relate. I feel jealous of couples, even though I had my first kiss and my boyfriend before. I don't hang around night clubs or dangerous places, but I still horse around and fuck around with lots of people. I'm really thankful you made this show. I can really relate to it, and it kinda made my day. I hope the best for you Bojack, I know you will make it out there. I pour out my life here.

my first 2 weeks i was struggling with detoxing from heroin, it sort of felt like i was just going through the motions wanting it to be over so i could go out and see my dealer again and get high...hell, i was even looking forward to the fact that it was gonna be amazing since i hadnt shot up in 2 weeks, but my therapist asked me something that really turned my life around: Are you here because you want to be or are you here for someone else, if you're not here for you that i cant do much to stop your behavior because you have to want to change...i stayed up all night thinking about what he said and it was exactly what i needed to hear to get clean! Bojack is legitimately so relatable it's scary
