    It's nothing wrong or wack if you pen your rhymes. You're still a dope emcee if you write your rhymes. Thinking of the freshest rhyme to write is real Hip Hop & is necessary. It's easy to say a rap without writing it first with minimum substance or lyrical creativity.

    • @dkmrap1

      Big wrote his verses.....in his head. It's way more difficult than writing on paper

    • @derrickhoward1543
      @derrickhoward1543 6 місяців тому

      @@dkmrap1No it's not. It depends on the person. Some rappers have way tougher times writing on paper and they do what works best for them which is not writing their raps down. It all depends on the rapper and what creative process works best for them. Majority of people do lose a crazy amount of quality when they don't write their raps down. There's some that didn't happen to but it happens to the majority. Some of these rappers raps would be way better if they actually wrote them down. Generally it's tougher to write super high quality raps down than to not do it. Not everybody is Biggie and Biggie did write some of his lyrics down too.

      OK, not everybody will, and that's OK. In all fairness, his passion is sports, not music.

    The only rapper I’ve thought that wasn’t from this planet was Nas. I think we are blessed to have him. However I’ve seen polls where they asked who was the face of the 90’s and he isn’t winning over Snoop, Dre, Pac and Biggie. He’s been the most consistent rapper of all time with arguably the best album ever and the best first 3 albums ever. Sometimes when your peek last decades you lose as a artist. Similar to what Lil Wayne is going through now.

      If Pac would have never give Big a platform and put him on, nobody would've bothered with big. When I hear the song Me And My B... and Kick In The Door, I can't help but wonder what on earth people saw in the guy. He tried to take others identities and flows etc. His lies about his upbringing was awful for his mother. I really, really, don't get what people see in him.
