"Had a tough day at the office, so you come home, make yourself some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink, its fun right? Wrong, don't smother your kids." lol
Now, I don't watch Scrubs much I've gotten into it sort of recently- ish so that could be why (though I have a few seasons on DVD) but it really is a hilarious show! J.d. has such a great quirky sense of humor, you wonder how the writers come up with this stuff. Sheer brilliance.
Yeah the network (NBC) used to have public service announcements between commercials that would feature stars from their sitcoms giving a weird heart-to-heart with the viewers. It's basically meant to remind you to be a better person and they would speak exactly like JD is here. It's a perfect spoof.
guys, look at wikipedia entry for "scrubs." Towards the bottom it tells u bout the "eighth season," including info updated around march 19 last i checked, it sounds likely that season 8 is returning, possibly in form of straight 2 dvd
I loved Arrested Development and was very sad when it was canceled. That being said, I think Scrubs is great. And if people can't enjoy 2 different shows then I feel sorry that they are missing out on great shows.
You had a tough day at the office you come home, make yourself some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink. It's fun right-wrong. Don't smother your kids.(The More You Know) "That problem would be gone forever."
"so you come home, make yourself some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink. it's fun, right? wrong. don't smother your kids." HAHA!!! so funny.
He will be in the Scrubs cast, just as a Guest Appearence. Plus - Iv'e sen leaked footage of episodes where for example JD has days off and it features Elliot and Turk around the Hospital - it's weird, but interesting...
If I saw this PSA on TV it would make my entire week.
I love how I barely even noticed when he said "Smother your kids"
now whenever I see a "the more you know" commercial I think of this & I laugh.
this is a perfect spoof of one.
His delivery is what sells it. God I love this show. It only gets better the more I watch it.
@@Lucifronz it's the best. damnit i can watch this show every year and it still makes me laugh and cry.
Man, the way he backs out of there is hysterical. Great clip! :D
this is probably one of the best joke in scrubs history. right on the spot comedy!
"Had a tough day at the office, so you come home, make yourself some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink, its fun right?
Wrong, don't smother your kids."

*Throws pillow away*
Phew that was close, thanks JD..... ("run along kids..")
those "the more you know" psas came across way too casual back in the day...
jd stumbling out of the door is hilarious....
Heh, I thought the funniest part of that was when he said "That problem would be gone forever"
And the way he backs out of the scene in the PSA.
that problem would be gone forever
he says it so casually that always makes me laugh lol
ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS IN SCRUBS EVER!
I saw this as a teenager, and to this day I have never once smothered my non existent children.
NBC, you had the opportunity to air this as an ad for Scrubs and chose not to do so.
Opportunity missed, NBC.
lmao. I love when they do spoofs like that. The sitcom ep was great too.
perfect in every way. never get sick of watching this!
My Lunch made me cry lol, its one of the saddest episodes of scrubs following is My Screwup Then My Occurance.
Zach’s New Jersey accent really coming out on the “don’t smother your kids line”
I love how he walks off the scene. :p
Comments from 16 years ago. That’s almost as old as yt.
LMAO, I remember watching this, freaking HILARIOUS!!
This was amazing.
i love how he side walks out of the PSA...hilarious
It's inspired me to make my own series of The More You Knows out of videos I've taken recently :)
Now, I don't watch Scrubs much I've gotten into it sort of recently- ish so that could be why (though I have a few seasons on DVD) but it really is a hilarious show! J.d. has such a great quirky sense of humor, you wonder how the writers come up with this stuff. Sheer brilliance.

haha, "fun right? WRONG. Don't smother your kids." i love that.
I loved Arrested Development and was very sad when it was canceled. That being said, I think Scrubs is great. And if people can't enjoy 2 different shows then I feel sorry that they are missing out on great shows.
I like the Box of Kittens. You'd never have to neuter cats ever again, treating depression with kittens is genius.
lmao, this is one of his better dream sequences
I love his face when he's think

Genius! :)
Hilarious! I love Scrubs! LOL!!

You had a tough day at the office you come home, make yourself some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink. It's fun right-wrong. Don't smother your kids.(The More You Know)
"That problem would be gone forever."

that problem would be gone forever! a very good jd daydream
I love Scrubs. Nuff said.
I love this part, lol.
He will be in the Scrubs cast, just as a Guest Appearence. Plus - Iv'e sen leaked footage of episodes where for example JD has days off and it features Elliot and Turk around the Hospital - it's weird, but interesting...
"...make some dinner, smother your kids, pop in a movie, maybe have a drink." My god that's what I do evey Tuesday night! Now I know.
I loved this one and the one where he finds the coffee maker under his kid's bed PSA
"It's fun right? Wrong." LOL. Only jd thinks up things like this...
must be an honor for you that zach himself postet your link
You should make a public service announcement about that.
And Now You Know, and Knowing Is Half The Batlle!
lol I love this video I saw the scrubs episode that it was on
NBC (the people who produce 'Scrubs') will have Public Service Announcements called 'The More You Know'. Family guy did a similar spoof.
haha. it seems real.
Love JD. This is so funny
