    It looks like you just removed the old yellow overgrip. Can you also remove the old actual grip so that you will only have one layer?

    my Paddle was turning in my hand. It caused a loss of angle to return the ball. also if a hard hitter would force the paddle to turn down. replaced grip all is better.

    Try pulling harder and overlap less and you will get better result...edge of the grip is thinner...when you overlap too much there is visible bump because you are overlapping the thick part of the grip...

    Thanks for showing how to replace an OVERGRIP. That is NOT the same as replacing a GRIP. Which in this video, you never removed.

      Actually, he removed an overgrip and replaced it with a REPLACEMENT grip...interesting.

      That appears to be a skinny (over) grip as the base grip. The resulting grip size after the install will be quite a bit larger than the original.

    People peoples, OPEN your 👁️👁️, that black layer you are seeing are the tape protecting the core of the racket, it is NOT the original grip. If he took that off, he would have compromised the integrity of the racket.
