This has always been my favorite Marcelo match of all time. Marcelo showed how much class he has, never let Kron get under his skin. Relentless pace and perfect execution of his guillotine. Incredible.
Marcelo, one of the best ever. He earned much respect with this finish, regardless of Kron's hesitance to honor him and give the respect. The whole BJJ world was watching this one.

Kron, com a técnica que tem, não precisava apelar assim, tanto que perdeu...
Apelou pq sabia da inferioridade...Marcelinho Garcia finalizou até o Rolles Gracie no absoluto, o cara tem 1,93m e mais de 100kg. O Kron nunca chegou perto da qualidade técnica do Marcelinho...então se tratando de técnica, o Kron precisou sim tentar desestabilizar de alguma forma suja.

Gracie’s suck except for Roger
Rickson and Rolls are from a different era, and they didn't compete in sports jiu jitsu the way Roger did. That said, they both never lost a match, and so many people who rolled with them said they were the best they ever rolled with, and they didn't have a chance. I know there is a lot of mystique with those two, but it's pretty obvious they both were amazing. I would say Carlson had quite a reputation as well. Even some of Helios accomplishments were crazy. You may not be a Gracie fan, but facts are facts. You can't really say they suck based on the information we have. Very few of the Gracies legitimately sucked. Roger is unbelievable though, no doubt about it. I'm just proving you wrong because you were being a bit unrealistic.
Kron was awesome he had six closed guard game. Marcello Garcia was just unbelievably good especially this match on point. Kron was really good to In this match Garcia finally caught him though. That scramble then finish was amazing.

This is why sambo blows away bjj in modern mma and bjj is increasingly becoming useless. The guard is great but should be a last resort.Way too much plopping to your butt. Are you going to butt scoot in a real fight on the street? Bjj does not respect wrestling and judo as much as sambo does.
Here comes someone who’s never wrestled, done sambo or bjj to tell us what’s good and what’s bad lol - there’s a bunch of wrestling in this match so obvious your just parroting opinions about techniques you don’t understand
Adcc isn’t a bjj tournament and it’s submission wrestling it’s a ruleset pushes wrestling- 70% of what he’s doing is wrestle ups its still wrestling using things like arm drags outside Russians etc any decent wrestler judoka etc would recognize these things so it’s obvious you’ve never trained . ..

Não chego a execrar o Kron desta forma….talvez a pressão do Marcelinho seja tão grande(e que atleta em) que remete o Kron os instintos do ser humano…empurrar, afastar….e vale lembrar tbm que é um princípio básico do Jiu Jitsu, o corpo só vai onde a cabeça está.
ADCC é selva, não é Jiu Jitsu de Kimono…está na regra então pode se usar, se até bate estaca vale o que tem empurrar o rosto do adversário?
