  • This truffle restaurant has a new tasting menu.
    Margotto Hawaii’s new Hawaii executive chef, Shiori Okuya, has refined the flavors of the restaurant’s Grand Degustation menu.
    Highlights from the new Grand Degustation menu:
    Chilled corn soup
    Prosciutto with brioche
    Mushroom tart
    Sunny side up toast with red wine reduction, shaved parmesan and black winter truffles
    Unagi crepe
    Grilled golden eye snapper with scales: Gotta love that perfectly crispy skin
    Lemon pasta
    Roasted lamb or A5 wagyu steak
    TKG or seaweed butter rice
    Dessert: Ice cream with white truffle infused Italian honey
    The eatery also has a new wine bar, open 6 p.m.-1 a.m. Thursday-Saturday. The eight-seat counter offers cold pupu and hot plates of pasta, truffle fries and curry rice, paired with wines by the glass or bottle.
