I didn't expect to see footage of Baby Jesssica ("the baby in the well") all these years later! I was around 8 or 9 when she fell into a well, and it took days to get her out. The entire country sat riveted, and people all around the country were bawling around the water cooler after she was saved. I know it sounds crazy now, but we didn't all have our own personalized news stations back then. We all watched the same stories, on the same new channels, and even though we might disagree on how to fix things, we at least agreed that we lived in the same reality. Dang. I miss those days.

Joan Jett had a great effect on me growing up in my life. One of the few female role model I felt was like me growing up. She did not let being female stand in her way and that had a great influence on me. In my teen years I at least had her to listen to on my Walkman though I was made to be a loner in school, that helped me get through those years of listening to her.

On 8.19.2020 my wife passed away 2weeks after our sons 23rd birthday, 6 days later our dog passed away, he was 6 months old.and on the 2nd of this month would have been our 25th anniversary. My heart is shattered. It's so hard to get up in the morning knowing she is gone. But like this song I'm not going to give up the fight.im not gonna surrender!!!!!!

You know how sometimes you look forward to something soooo long and then it happens and youre kinda let down? Yeah well the Joan Jett show was nothing like that.
