@@DepthsGoldCoast I live in Napa and was thinking about getting into spearfishing, do you have any advice for beginners getting comfortable in the water? Any places you know of where conditions would be easy on a beginner?
@@samcooper8924 Check out Marin Diving Center! They do “fun dives” every few weeks where you can go out with a group of people, Sonoma, Mendocino, Monterey. Mainly group people up for scuba, but sometimes there are some people snorkeling. Call/ go in and they can definitely help you get into the water, figure out if you want to get scuba if you don’t have that, etc. They’ll be able to help you out with appropriate locations.
Just got to the Bay area after being spoiled in SoCal, would love to go out spearing with you, looking for people to go with.
Great video! Is this at Salt Point?
Thank you! This was actually just north of the main Fort Ross cove at a smaller cove called “Kolmer Gulch”

@@DepthsGoldCoast Additionally, do you know of any forums or local shops where I could go to talk to people?
