Thanks man and yeah I do. Not that I rather dive alone its just hard to find buddies during the small windows of good weather we get up here (usually during the week). The way I see it is even if you're diving with the best of the best, if you're diving stupid without proper surface times and knowledge of your limits you're always going to be putting yourself in danger.
@@stefangoodman1928 100% agree man.. Plus Its tough finding new dive buddies on the basis that everybody is protective of their secret spots.. I get the risk factor that the elite free divers constantly preach about diving alone, but i think for most of us weekend Spearos its just not an option. I really hope we get our Abalone and Kelp back someday dude.. Was looking pretty barren.. I remember Russian Gulch and Van Dam having kelp so thick you could almost crawl on top of it. Keep up the great Vids man. Stay safe

No dive knife to dispatch the fish before putting in your kayak? Get one at Youngbloods.co the YBS crew.

Awesome! Was this recent? And how deep do you have to go to find lings?
Yes this was from this year! I’ve shot them in anywhere from 10ft to 45ft.
