I disagree strongly, there are many types of tv shows that have “talent and singing” competitions around the world. So yeah these shows won’t ever end.
In June 2022, it was reported that The X Factor will be revived in 2023, and air on Channel 5..
Joeseppi explained the whole structure of this show in less than seven minutes. What saddens me is that the 'talent of the show' the contestants are simply forgotten when the purpose of any show is to endorse the artists in it not to carry one person's fame until the end of times.
Some millionaires are just numb dolts who invent stuff up with their money just to amuse themselves with the time spending their millions on their ego trip.
Simon cowell is also pretty sketchy, have you seen the contracts people have to sign to merely be in with a chance of going on one of these shows? They basically have to forfeit all their social media accounts. It's crazy

4:18 bruh I love how the girl looks all "oh god it's THE call I'm so nervous" except there are cameras and a whole crew on each of the two locations. Meaning the whole thing is setup and staged way ahead of time. It's hilarious
Simon Cowell sent them to her house against her will and she was told that if she was rejected that a hit squad would bury her beneath the very place she sat and if she tried to run her chair would explode before she could get to her feet
The only good thing we ever got out of the x Factor was watching it be dethroned by rage against the machine. Seeing Simon Cowell act like a little child because he wasn't going to push another artist to have the top selling single during the holidays is absolutely glorious.

How loud is your blood curdling scream?
To answer this question we first have to define, what is a scream?
Friend of mine attended one of the auditions circa 2009. This was the old format where you were just in the room and not the live auditions they now do.
Hours spent sat around doing nothing. If the film crew approached you and wanted you to say or do something dumb, you did it lest you be kicked out. The production team were apparently quite overbearing and snippy, also those scenes with the judges' cars pulling up were filmed as much as 10 times until they were happy.
Only the very best and the very worst got through to Simon and co while everyone else was filtered out during an earlier audition with seemingly very young runners and researchers. Generally he said it all felt very "commercialised", the word he used.

Another friend of mine joked that the X Factor and BGT were so repetitive and obviously fixed because that Simon guy just wins every single year.

Most of us Americans only remember Simon from American Idol. A show that no one has cared about in over 15 years! Not even Simon.
Having the same reality tv tropes of manufactured tear inducing drama, but also double down on the audition phase where they pourposly brought bad singers to audition (telling them they are amazing before the show) just so they can insult them. X Factor does all this as well with a higher budget!
It’s as you say in the video, this kind of show will continue to exist till the end of time. Or atleast untill it stops sounding better a when a British person would insult us.
