Humans have "been on their own" for >99% of human existence... and have largely THRIVED. It is only recently that more and more people are becoming incredibly soft.

I know older women that take home health care jobs like this and they get free room and board PLUS $1500 a month and also collect their disability!! They drive them around in the persons car at their expense!! Look in the papers or online in any fair sized town. That's how they found the jobs.
You are right. I have gotten people like this jobs in homes of elderly people who needed some assistance. Live-in jobs are plentiful, as they would like the room and board to be part of the salary. But live-in workers are few and far between. A lot of European women who don't even speak English come here just for that. I am familiar with all this because I'm a social worker who has spent years working with seniors in their homes, doing home health visits to get them assistance for whatever they need. I wish I could work with her to help her in her own location. Many, even though there are people who help or try to help, don't know how to grab hold of local services, job placements, entitlements, residential needs, etc. I hope she has a counselor available to her.
Why would anybody spend all their money on a man or anybody else for that matter unless it was for an emergency
Because they manipulate and trick you in the name of "love" and a great future.

Her story is ehy im so fed up with the US giving our taxes to other countries while so many of our own suffer. As far as rich people, Jesus said " it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to follow me"( approximate)
What this woman really wants is to be shielded from consequences of her poor choices. What this organization wants is for people like me to donate money no questions asked.
I honestly don’t feel that we as a society are obliged to help this woman until she can demonstrate to us that she will be more responsible and make better choices. That means figuring out how to get out of the rut she is in. I don’t feel that she simply made one bad decision and ended up homeless, but a lifetime of poor choices. Her family, friends, and church have chosen not to help her, so why should we?
Do you know her? Why do you feel this way? How do you know it was a lifetime of poor choices?
I feel bad for this lady. Never support a guy, and not meet your own needs. Relationships dont always work out. As we get up in age, we have to hsve our own bk, acct, Social Security, a stable relationship, and stable housing. There r no guarantees in life. Hope this nice lady finds her way out of a rut

I agree. The interviewer is clueless. Doesn't seem passionate about homeless if she doesn't know basic things.
Sounds weird, usually the man is responsible for all the bills, never the other way around, if the woman's name isn't on any of the bills she is homeless and doesn't know it, one fight and she will find out.

Come live in Warrington UK, learn a scouse(ish) accent and pay £1 for a house, nobody will ever notice. Scouse(ish) accents on promo this week.
You don't even have to lie. If anybody asks where you're from, just say 'Warrington'. They will go glassy and leave you alone.
"I am home healthcare person." And you ask what that means. You ask her what upsets her so much. Then you ask, " Worry about what?" Dude, you're asking really stupid questions. Ask her if she has a history of drug/alcohol abuse to put her in this situation.

She answers the question “what could people with money do” and she seems to answer “give it to me” She stated at the beginning she had an inheritance, so someone already gave her money and she still ended up homeless… my question to her would be: what would you do differently this time with the money to get a different outcome? What can be done to help your younger self make better decisions so that other people can be helped earlier, before they get to this point? What can SHE do to redirect others she may know to prevent this situation happening to them?

I would recommend applying for Medi-Cal, which has a Dental component, and that might help you. Someone recommended that to me, and it has turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done.
