This shit kinda dystopian ngl
Vietnam is not a some poor country or some kind like third world . They are Second World only just late a time
You should do this for Kenya, specifically the sgr(railway finished under Uhuru, who was also the minister of finance that green lighted it).
This shit is bad for content creation, and the fact that he's trying to push it shows a lot. We don't need more brainless, useless, idiots posting AI generated content. This just floods the space with trash.
Jake Chinese hackers are looting uda people from.laos near laos china bordering area see if you can catch that call center
White collar crime are worst than murder. For example the 2008 economic crisis.
*worse
Thanx. I had « the worst » in mind.
Really? I'd rather lose my money than my life.
@@murph6308 People get divorces lose their families and end their lives over financial issues. Most of us are still suffering the consequences of the 2008 crisis.
Yep. White collar crimes will push many people into stress, depression and self-deletion or deleting others out of desperation. Immorality and disharmony.
Her husband got 5 years jail in Hong Kong for doing the the exact same things, where do you think she got the ideas from. Come on people he be learn this dirty bank shite from the British banker who pass on to him during theirs colonial day
"british" banker
It’s easy to say why didn’t she quit and retire to a private island or something but when you got that much going on you can’t just walk away. Too many other powerful people invested. Death sentence either way.
It's like drugs...addicting
she might as well just take the entire country like a Nigerian politician
Where is her online course?
In America, the case would be dropped and a netflix documentary would be made celebrating her.
Then file a bankrupcy a run for president claiming MAGA😂
Seriously man, you're not wrong . In America women can do NO wrong. But us men are fighting back to hold these females accountable
@@SuperEH2393 It's not about women, it's about bankers sacking society
Bring that law to the USA half of wall street is killed 😂

Well, UA-cam deleted the reply to your comment
Probably 80% lol

They should
As a Vietnamese dude, I'm really impressed by the accuracy and detail in this video. From the real estate boom driving the economy to the "Burning Furnace" operation, our leaders' effort to combat corruption like how China did recently. Also pleased to see that many Westerners are now moving past the bias that "corruption only happens in third world countries" and are seriously considering this as an example for their own first world leaders.
Ning Nong nang eeeii aiiii
I think Jake is Vietnamese lol
If you believe that she did this by herself, you must have no idea how evil politics truly is...
Edit: There are many men equally or even more involved in all this than she ever was.
You mean like a mis direction surly not.😮
Siphoned off 10% of Vietnam’s GDP . OMG ! Corruption is common in developing countries but this one is worse than Bernard Madoff’s case .
Many innocent people duped & lost their monies placed with SCB in deposits , bonds , etc
I dont get why 50 Million wasnt enough. How can you be so greedy. I mean even 1 Billion is to much to spend in one lifetime.
Her at the healm was probably necessary for the rouse to continue. Madoff could've disappeared too, but rubbing shoulders with establishelment probably had her thinking she wasnt any common criminal and the blame would be dispersed over so many high profile ppl it'd never truly see the light
It's never about "the money."
Most billionaires work well past when they are able to quit. Because it's not really about the money.
They have
A
S
P
D
And a hole of a heart that no love or money can fill.
At some point, it ceases to be about the money and becomes about the adrenaline rush of stealing.
Depends on your goals. For example I have the goal of annihilating the legacy of electronic arts from the modern era. 1 billion is not enough to accomplish that goal. Hilariously enough it is several thousand times more than enough to start.
So she couldn't bribe all the other people lol she pissed someone off
Ruling community party
ya she basically didnt fak the wrong person not to fak
Investigating this was so complicated because the government want to get back every penny.
It's take 5 years investigating in secret since 2017 to really know how rich her and her family are their private own property are insane.
She is a chain link in a big international money laundry operation.
Corruption runs deep in Vietnam. It starts the moment you land at the airport there.
I believe there’s more to this story than what’s on the news. She’s maybe a scapegoat for some big top brass hi up… 😂😂😂
They definitely threw her under the bus, these types of crimes involves a lot of people at different levels
From what I've seen, she WAS the big boss. If they can get to her, they can get to anyone. It's possible other high ranking officials haven't been caught yet, but this whole "bribery culture" is ending in Vietnam, the government will make sure of that.
That's exactly what I think.
Specially in a commie country. They are known for doing these things.
true. she's probably just scapegoat of the leaders of the communist party. can't do all these shyt and these guys know nothing of it. probably this is the model for most of the countries around the world
She should have fled to Thailand or some country where there is no extradition laws.
Past 4 videos have been great Jake ! Keep it up
You have rightly said " In poorer developing countries bribery is the way of life" . Agreeed
Smart lady .... But as the Bible states, the love of money is the root of all evil.
The root of all evil is replacing life in the living and their habitats and the things that people find fulfilling, with money. The transactional nature of relationships and commodifying nature and humanity included is evil.
You're silly quote is completely out of context and misses the whole point of the Gospels.
Pharises!
I think they wanted to get rid of her so if they get rid of her, Then she wouldnt be able to snitch on other ppl in high places.
I'm currently working in Indonesia and only hear headlines about the news of corruption in Vietnam. I'm surprised at how similar Vietnam is to Indonesia: corruption is rampant in both countries.
In the last 3 months alone, there are 3 news about corruption in Indonesia with huge loss. It's ridiculous.
Every authoritarian country is similar. Because of how the system is established.
Same thing in Russia.
You can argue that in the west corruption exists too. But no. Not on such a scale. If the proportion of corruption in the USA, or any other Western democracy was akin that in a typical authoritarian regime, you'd hear cases about corruption x1000 that of Bernie Madoff or Sam Bankman.
There would be headlines like "1 Trillion..." "250 billion" "780 billion" every two or three years. And a couple Bernie Madoffs each month.
But the trick is, that you won't see such articles. Because they won't get into jail.😂
As an Indonesia I can confirm. Indonesia is ruled by mafia. People who only think about themselves. No loyalty to the nation. Very useful to the globalists.
I would've stolen $43.9 billion and then dipped.
Really, anything over a B is just pure evil and greed...
44 billis for your life it's kinda good barter.
1 billion would been more than enough for me. You be bringing in over 100k a month just for your money sitting in a bank. If u can’t live off 100k a month i don’t know what to say
@@John-86GREED is why they can’t
😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's the same stuff in the western countries as well.
Some people got found out of their bad intentions and crime and the only way to justify it is to continue to do more crime and tell more lies to cover it up.
she's definitely a scapegoat
Imagine the person who taught her this game
In vietnam we quote it "The biggest bank robbery" without ever using a gun lol or the most "non violent" bank robbery.
đúng thật =)))
không cần súng, vẫn trộm
As someone that is an expat in Vietnam that is working to open investment avenues into Vietnam, this story was a BIG blow to marketing the opportunity. So much so, I am wondering if it's still too early to attract outsiders.
expect to bribe your way to profit then
Investing there is like pissing your money away.
Ya Id bail lmao
You should do a video on the business plot of 1933
your channel hasn't died Jake! Your the real king! I believe in you. Great editing and high quality video! Love it
Jake tran do a 2-3 hour video about dominion voting machinces
She was actually born in Vietnam. Her grandparents came from china
How do you siphon off more than 10% of a country’s gdp? Wallstreet want to take it from here? Pretty sure they can do it every year or so
Great documentary.
You can also check on the Iranian billionaire "Babak Zanjani" who also received a death sentence for embezzling the country's oil money.
Vietnam government message is You can make a billion dollar as long don't cross line VCP , Yes they more like don't push to hard like China but Don't put them to the brink
They should do that here with politicians and billionaires too
That is so PHUC . Must be nice knowing the president. Nyugen Xuan.
Bro seriously just promoted the dead internet theory 💀
Bro is surprised that short form content is the dead internet 💀
What’s the dead internet theory
@@CS-yc6qp
Basically the theory that the vast majority of content on the Internet is machine generated somehow. Also includes the idea that a very large number of accounts on social media are just bot accounts.
Personally I think it's more true in some places than others. For example any place that you have short form content you can easily have bot driven content. Examples include UA-cam Shorts Twitter and Tick Tock.

When I was in Thailand I wasn't bribed by cops.
Probably because you talk in an honest way
LOVING YOUR WORK WE LOVE YOU IN JAMAICA 🇯🇲
What if it's all just a cover up and she's the scapegoat
You are thinking,
I like that.
The bank family get vietnam government to hold her accountable.
She got greedy
We need that in the USA
The citizens of the US can probably actually sign a petition for a Death Penalty against corruption. If every state proposes such a bill, it could pass.
In such a world, I see a lot of abuse of this to win politically
so naive
Good luck
Or and hear me out. The people in power say no.
The law would be abused.
How are her kids able to keep the money?😳🤔🤷🏽♂️
They're in china living lavishly using all of that money wiping away sweet tears
I met a family in Da Nang. The mother is a mid level employee who works for the environment protection and disaster recovery department. Each of the kids drive cars that are worth more than $1.5M. They live in luxury, from high end houses that are worth more than $3M to $30k watches. So lets see, can we do some 3rd grade math and ask how this is possible?
In Vietnam, if you have a position in the government, is easier to be rich (not by "salary" for sure)
Communism Government kids
We need to do that with Gavin Newsome and the 24 billion in taxpayer money lost, meant to tackle the homeless and drug crisis thats only gotten worse
Nah why does the internet treat the states like it’s the only main country like gtfo ..
A good video about a corruption case in ur country Jake tran
Kolkatta series being discussed at Netflix….
do that in the US
I highly recommend making a video on Eskimo in South Africa - interesting stuff
The same should be done in the West too
Bernie did it and nothing 😅
FTX as well did it.
Truly agreed.
Well done video and keep up the good work!
9:45 typo, intentional?
Editors error probably
1 minute ago is crazy
Vietnam is a 2nd world country…
3rd World (coming from a Vietnamese)
The subprime is the same scheme but no one was in jail in us
Two videos in one week what's going on!🎉🎉🎉
Imagine losing 10% of your economy to one person.
It's happening right now in the United States
Not 1 person. Prob over 100s of people, if you include all the public officials and associates over the years
Probably over 10%
Just that it's just this they've discovered
Exactly!!
Living in America, where it's been happening for 100 years. But we call it taxes. FYI the fed and IRS are not the government.
I would've done that to 100 billion dollars and use it to do my scientific experiments
I did not get notified about this video.
Jake tren has got to be one of the best bodybuilders. I question his nattu status though
Imagine the same would ever happened in the West ?!....
They are calling it a bribe but it's more like extortion 😅
A LOT of countries work like this with corruption being pretty much right in the face of the citizens. Morocco is like this. Lots of countries are!
13:45 song name?
Same in the Philippines going rate 10 percent of project plus a ford everst for the mayor.
She makes Jho Low look amateurish
Bravo! Take note, America.
buddy if u think her government didnt sacrifice her to keep their own money in their pockets then u r wrongo
Where is the monthly video???? What are we paying for?
If death sentencing was mandatory around the world for white collar crimes. How fast would that make a turn around. Or make congress shake in their boots. But then again the same people that does the embezzling are the ones that make the rules/laws.
"They" can just block your access to international assets. Shackle the common folks with more fake debts to keep them poor while their club enjoy ownership of real tangible assets.
As a Vietnamese, thank you for letting the world know our country's biggest story in this decade!
It goes both ways : she became their source of Life style thy were hungry for..if she stopped thy would take her out
2..she was in too deep her hunger for more grew..money amplified her Natural greed
Literally every billionaire
I wonder how much $ the judge got for making that decision
Wealth in reverse
Let's not forget that 10 percent of the richest people in the United States own almost 70 percent of the country’s total wealth.
Music @ 16:00 please ?
It is much worse in America except we're transferring to Israel.
PLEAD FOR HER MERCY!!!
I thought you were talking about the FED, guess not 😂

This is about that woman or about denigrate Vietnam ?!
With one of the world’s fastest growing economy with foreign investment pouring in like crazy they are hardly a 3rd world country.
