I've been a hater for several years, but this bike is the first which is offering something which I'm potentially interested in. The power figures from the engine are serious, and HD looks to have upped its game.
The price isn't outrageous either. I'm not going to trade in my bike anytime soon, but I can respect the direction HD is going in.
I might even have to change my prejudice against HD!

Also to those concerned wit a fat front tire. I think younger guys like the look better. I personally like the fat tire in my scout twenty. I used to ride a 2007 zx6r and a fat front tire is what a power cruiser bike needs. It helps with stability, and riding comfort. Turning a fatter tire is no different than a skinny tire because you are using your weight to turn. A fat tire might also help keeping you safe on the road as you have more tire on the road.

I wasn’t offered a test ride and told not to move any of the bikes as they were packed in close together. Short story: went to Indian dealer and within 30 mins was riding a Springfield which I later got a great deal on!! I even went back and bought my Ducati also.. so kiss my ass HD !!

The 21 sportster s makes me want another bike.. badly. HD did a fantastic job of modernizing a classic design. The fat, meaty tires, wheel design, bar end mirrors, bronze accents, and an aftermarket style rear fender for the license plate from the factory help this bike look aggressive and attractive. I actually quite like the headlight too, which has been a turnoff for some. Now I just have to decide if I sell my ‘20 Mustang GT to be able to pick one of these up sooner.

I never knew WHY Harleys were/are SO heavy. My old Buell XB12-R (using a HD sportster 1200cc engine) weighed in at 179kg dry. The donor bike 240kgs (dry). What are they making them out of LEAD? I'm not a fan of this new bike personally but I can see it selling for HD though.

I agree, that single disc Brembo in the front better be enough stopping power! Why not just include 2 disc on bikes this powerful? Boggles the mind! Other than that, I like it and will definitely one of the bikes to consider when I want to trade up. Hopefully HD listens and changes that front brake set up.

    What I think..??
The undertail exhaust pipes should have been one on both sides. That way, it would have looked a lot BETTER, because that bodywork covering the exhaust looks good and even that would have looked BETTER if it was on both sides. Quite Balanced.
