Just the trust? In my case they've killed the game. I say kill because i was a daily player of the sims 2, i even made everything from scratch in that game, the sims themselves, houses, neighborhoods, I've never played their townie households so you can imagine how much time and effort I've spent in that game. I still love the sims 2 but it's been years and i no longer have my original copies and i heard rebuying everything and also getting your modern computer ready for a game ran on an old engine like the sims 2 is work so i most likely wont play it again, but i wanted to try the sims 4 but after seeing and knowing what i know about this game, the sims as it is, is dead to me. Besides being unable to play like i want to, EA and their crackpot team of devs are making it worst with the fact that the game is so buggy. Also this game don't even feel like you can make the game world the way you want it, it feels like they're just telling people how to play the game the way they see fit >.> I'm just hoping life by you significantly improves their graphics and make their game as customizable friendly as they say it will be.
I am in the ‘we don’t need more packs camp’. We can already set homes as rental homes and we can already have roommates there are a few more features that I would like (my sim owning a home that is rented) but certainly not enough for a whole expansion pack!!!

About that too, simmers are privileged people willing to put thousands if they could into the game, most are already beyond a thousand in and yet they like to preach at others about checking their privilege when it comes to EA making the base game free 🙄 They also love yelling at others to STFU about the sims 4 needing improvements but when they somewhat do it like adding more or changing the weird skin tones for example, they're the same people to come in the comments cheering about what a wonderful and charitable thing the sims team has done for them and wonderful for the game.... They want to shut down everyone acting like the game is perfect because god forsake you say anything at all about their precious sims 4 as they actively hinder progress, but they sure like to move themselves front and center to be there as if they helped to make history when it finally happens..... I swear they make my butt itch.
I don't think it's stalling imo, I think its Halloween time its October. for me, I think they will release it in December to space it out from the new SP we just got, so tweeting about other stuff is okay it's just tweets and memes they are not that serious
IMO, adding the Multifamily/Apartment lot type should be in a free update. From what I've seen through the leak, it's basically City Living 2.0. Simmers are asking for Pack Refreshes, and they are giving them to us but are putting an Additional price tag on them. So, to get the whole City Life experience it's like you need to spend $80 instead of $40 and they aren't even fully fleshed out. You could literally get all of that in one expansion if this was Sims 2. And Sims 2 doesn't work on my computer (also frustrating). Look, I love playing the Sims but most Simmers have already paid 1000s of dollars for these packs, and there's thousands of people who play this game, Isn't that enough already? The greed from this company is annoying....

You’re giving them too much credit. They are not stalling on new DLC. They are trying to hype current sale which is featuring spooky/occult themed packs
I guarantee you there are no less than 25 people deciding on the schedule. To adjust them is not usual. They may try to move it if the leak is true but that involves many many many voices. Remember these big companies are like driving a cruise ship. They take a long time to move and turn.
I think since the last occult sims we dont have rn are Fairies but after that i think they should stop releasing new packs and REVAMP some previous ones and make them better like better spa day, restaurants, more vacation worlds, etc. or better yet fix bugs. I want rhat more than a new pack every month.
We don't have Zombies (?), lol. Faries, I believe were only in Sims 3, Zombies were in Sims 1-3 (#idon'twantzombies). Technically the "imaginary friends" in Sims 3 were also a type of magical being. Also, if they want to go crazy with occult stuff, there's always something new to throw in. There is no list of occults they must meet. Before expansions, Sims 1 didn't even have the personification of death. Can't remember if Ghost were there from the beginning or not. They don't have to checklist what was in past sims games as well, there's no requirement they add it because Sims 1, 2, and/or 3 had it. They can do (or not do) what they want. I'm personally neutral on fairies. If they add them, cool, if they don't, could care less. I don't really play with occults much and haven't played with them at all in Sims 4...the only occult I have is aliens because they came with "Get to Work" and if they are out there in my Sims land, the disguise is working because no on looks like an alien.
Fix the game in general, but even then i'm still not happy with the game. I want my characters to have their own personal vehicles again like in the sims 2, i want preteens not only because the teens look like adults, but when i think of teens i think of a stereotypical girl squealing about boybands and glitter, boys acting moody and crushing on girls, i think of maybe 15 year old being a good age point between child and young adult, but since they're clearly older than 15, then add preteens that look 12.... Many people might not see value in them but i personally love the great grand generations, great grandparents, geriatric aged people. I want super old sims, the parents of the elders.... Imaging great grandparents with their families, why do they have to leave the world so soon and skipping out on grand years in their 80s and 90s? I'm not playing what EA and the devs says is the sims, i'm the type of simmer who likes making the sims world my own so i'd greatly appreciate create a world back. I hate most of their readymade worlds in the game, most of them are based on the same US state California, and i can think of a hell of a better way of making a Japanese world than the snowy escape one, and i hate how small their towns are and that many of the very limited lots are occupied by townies I've never cared for. And they say different heights are too challenging but i don't care i can dream and i want it! The least they could do is add more body types >.>
I believe the growing together EP was the first expansion to bring to light the feature for sims to visit other sims houses and stay for a while. So if the new Expansion is centered around real estate/ rentals then they could be refering to actual "squaters" in sims rental properties...😅

Yeah but also in the leak it basically says you can have two households on one lot combined so I think thats a bit different but I get it.

i would be happy if they push back content releasing and refine and make it best as possible.
I just want them to fix the game. Some bugs have been there for years...the more shit they release the more broken it gets. Just fix the game already!
