Thank you too! I prayed for my mum to come to salvation from when I was around 14 until I was 54. She finally came to that incredible place last year, and put her trust in Jesus! All glory to the Lord!! Alistair's ministry on UA-cam was the closing part of that journey the Lord took her on. We are also Scottish and she immediately formed a bond with him as she listened to his many sermons. During this time. she was and still is mostly bedridden after having had a massive stroke 6 years ago. I offered for her to listen to this Scottish preacher and the Lord did the rest. She loves Alistair's down-to-earth clarity and his Scottish turn of phrasing. May I encourage you to never give up on the Lord, even as Alistair said, when there is no, Yes and no, No - when you don't hear from Him, no matter how long it takes when praying for salvation of your loved ones. Having the knowledge that God does all things well, and is always righteous, kept my hope that God's mercy would come into her life. There were many times that I was close to despair that she would ever come to Him as her normal response was to push Him away. Thankfully, Salvation is gloriously and miraculously of God, and while there is still life and breath in those we pray for, we have Hope. We know that God not only knows and sees the heart, but understands it. May the Lord bless Alistair and his team at TFL for their wonderful and God glorifying ministry.
