Been praying for years and burnout. Tired of being used, lied, disrespected and not being able to see any light at the end. I’m tired I give up

Don't give up. Christ will never leave you or forsake you.

We know God works all things for good to those who are called to Is purpose- remain in the faith .. this place is NOT your home, and it is NOT your reward. If your in Christ, YOU are going somewhere- this is not your home, this is not your reward, now watch this: if He left and is preparing a place for you, why would He do that if He did not intend to bring you there Himself ?!
So with that in mind, press on no matter what your going through, as the Scripture says in Isaiah 58: “As high as the heavens are from the earth, so are my ways higher than yours”.. consider your tiredness a test of perseverance. Will you give up when Christ didn’t give up on the world in the garden ? I hope not.. know that we are all sinners, we all deserve hell on earth and in the lake of fire, yet God being rich in mercy died for us in that faith being counted as righteousness, whoever believes in the Son and confesses Him as Lord over their life and believes that God raised His Son from the dead, they will be saved.
Make Christ Lord over your mind, mouth, money, heart, plans, moves, future and destiny. I love you, I’m praying.

My prayers were answered (only one was not) but I am really tired of only having crap people around and they treating me really bad and I only see them for who they are after a lot of time. It hurts and stinks all the time and won’t stop the same pattern along with this neuropathy I now have at 20 years old. I had my aunt making witchcraft on me and after that my life has been really sad. Almost everybody turned against me and my world fell apart. I got to a point I don’t even want to feel happiness again because the price of feeling good things, trusting people or believing in dreams turns out to a mess everytime and I prefer to live a life where I don’t dream anymore because if it keeps this way at least I won’t suffer this much. I don’t trust anyone and still are hurt every fucking time it almost looks like a comedy really. It’s very impressive how can so much people be so mean out of nowhere and appear in my life all at the same time Ahahah. God please help us. Please. Amen💗💗💗

I think the first answer, which Chan assumes here... an answer which most Christians today really don't grasp... is persevere. We aren't really taught to pray through anymore. Wait upon God until He answers, no matter how long it takes for Him to answer.

Perseverence when led by Holy Spirit is productive. BUT, we all stand accused if ANY aspect of sin is present in our minds and bodies, and we MUST bear fruit worthy of repentance and allow the righteousness of God prevail IN us.

Maybe for some things. But most of us are not asking Daddy for a pony. 😳
We’re asking for *REAL* help, funds, a job, health, guidance, freedom, change...
Being told to ask, _asking_ and then being told to wait _however many years until He decides to move_ ✨ is a slap in the face and a “good cop” ticket for the Lord: can’t be mad at _Him.._ He’s so good!
      He’s *only* good.
Blame the devil. Or Eve. Or yourself.
      😒
It’s discouraging as His kid and it certainly doesn’t _encourage_ relationship.

God’s timing isn’t our timing. Sometime's we feel like He's not listening...most esp this season of pandemic.. but It’s all part of God’s plan. God’s got this. Just because you don’t get the answer you want doesn’t mean God isn’t listening.

Glad he finally landed with ACCEPTING what you can't understand. Knowing God as a GOOD, WISE and FAITHFUL Father should be enough. Be careful to not fall into the trap of scrutinizing your life. That puts the focus on YOU...and that's a hamster wheel of performance.

Think about this, You are already the answered prayer to many. If you could feel the intensity of Love someone feels for you, be it your mom, sister ,brother?
or the Divine itself. You ARE! the answered prayer, because you exist . BE BLESSED!

I was told that sin is basically anything that gets between you and God. So, even "good things" that are beneficial can be sinful in accessive amounts. That's why prayer is so important. Without that connection, we are just another religious group trying to prove ourselves right.

    • @ericrobbs1740
      @ericrobbs1740 5 років тому

Exactly! We are given a great example of this early in Acts (6:2-4) when even "serving" becomes a distraction from His word and ministry.

@@jawly_ hey! You may not be Christian but God used you today thru this comment to answer something I had asked him. He had been heavily placing on my heart that I should fast in tandem with a certain prayer request I currently have. And I had been wondering WHY the fasting was necessary. Then I read your comment and realized it's because gluttony and overeating is something I struggle with daily. So thank you for that🙂, and all glory to God 🙏

I really like the answer given, and the thought behind it, especially how it is scripture-rooted, but it leaves me with a question: Knowing that God knows better, and knowing that when he doesn't answer a prayer it is because he has a greater purpose, how can we reconcile prayer in the now, without presuming that we know as much as God and assuming we are asking for the very best? This line of thinking would make one only go to God sparingly, yet as 1 Thessalonians says we are to "Pray without ceasing". This makes it clear God doesn't just want the scattered reports, but continual connection. How do we pray with confidence without pride or presumption?

    • @Dreamgiirl23

Simply because of who he is. His grace is sufficient ❤️🥺

    • @harriedsloth4399

The way I understand "Pray without ceasing" means to pray without giving up on a particular matter, like interceding for a loved one who has rejected Christ, or pleading with God for healing from an oppressive illness that makes life difficult and painful. I don't think it means "Pray 24/7", or else there would be a lot of Christians fired from their jobs, causing car accidents, and avoiding all human contact because they were so preoccupied with praying non-stop. Not only is it impractical, it is impossible to pray 24/7. It is like the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge. I find it hard not to get bitter and resentful toward God, though. If a human were to not respond to me the way that God doesn't respond to my prayers, I would think that either they hate me or they just prefer to tune me out and pretend I don't exist. I have a lot of trouble with this emotionally. Jesus also says not to use vain repetitions when you pray. So I don't get it. Keep on praying about a matter without giving up, but don't repeat yourself over and over. So, are we supposed to get a thesaurus and use synonyms, or what?.
