    Yikes a jackhammer! Good job on your new project, omg. Birds must love AZ. Best of luck to you Newriver. Thanks for sharing

      Gladi wasn't the 1 operating that jackhammer lol. Gonna have the culvert installed tomorrow, then a front end loader coming in a couple weeks to finish the road. I don't know if the birds love arizona, but at least their coops are in the shade 😎👍

      I've actually got some huge quarts formations at the lower end of the property, so who knows lol. There are a lot of abandoned gold mines nearby n desert creeks to pan as well. I just don't have the patience to look n also too busy doing other things...

    You definitely need a backhoe . A larger diameter pipe and some gravel.
    GOOD LUCK with that. 😎👍

    The Caliche is a bitch. The county put in 3' culvert pipes last year, monsoons washed them all out. I get a lot of the mountain runoff. Pheasants are looking great.

    • @newrivertroll1553
      @newrivertroll1553  Рік тому +1

      You got dat right, calichi is definitely a bitch. Without a backhoe or other equipment, a jackhammer is the next best thing, n even better when someone else doing it for you lol. We got about 7' more to go in the morning, so almost done with step #1 of the road repairs.
      The pheasants look cool, but I got a Lil bored and have been trying to produce some hybrids to make the hobby a Lil more interesting lol. Not as easy as 1 would think, n I explain it better in the earlier pheasant vids js. We all got our obsessions lol, n I thoroughly enjoy watching your vids too Bro 😎👍

      We used to have a huge flock of the ringnecks, but got tired of butchering them. Nothing wrong with that, it's just after so many, I started to feel sorry for them. So now we just eat their eggs n also trying to produce some crazy looking hybrids, which ain't as easy as 1 would think. My other pheasant vids explain it better, n thank you so much for watching from across the pond Bro 😎👍

    hi, my friend. you seem to busy as usual.
    if I didn't misunderstanding, he trys to make a pass that guides water from high place to low place, isn't he? I think the rock road isn't easy to break. all ways need bigger tool, maybe.😂

      Hi Lil Sis. And yes, you are indeed correct as to why this work is being done. At the moment, the jackhammer tool is the best tool that I own for the job, and the man using it in the vid is the best man I know to operate it lol. He's also my oldest granddaughters father, who's name is Lando.
      I do have some friends that have bigger and better equipment, Bulldozers, Dumptrucks, etc, that will be helping me in the next few weeks.
      Unfortunately, my friend who owns the equipment broke the arm on his Bulldozer that digs trenches, and he's still waiting for the parts to fix that. But the big bucket on the front is still working, so he'll be able to move, spread, and level the dirt mounds that you can see in my vid, to repair my dirt road. But we still need about 6 more truckloads and some other road material.
      I'm hoping to get the culvert pipes buried today in a couple hrs, but we still have about 7 more feet long to dig. The pipes I'm using were missing the flanged end to connect them together, and nobody has them in town. But I think I have a creative solution to fix that, and I'll show that in my next vid, and the rest of the work being done in future vids.
      It was so good to hear from you again, Lil Sis 😊, thanks for watching, I best get back to work,,, so in the meantime, take care n 🤗

      Hello fattylumpkin. This wasn't my usual kind of vid, but such is life in the desert lol. I still have a lot more work get to get done in the coming weeks, n I'll probably try to get some vids of that too.
      I really appreciate you taking the time to have a look, n I also subbed your channel 😎👍

    • @newrivertroll1553
      @newrivertroll1553  11 місяців тому

      I'll bet that was expensive, last 1 I had drilled cost me about 11 grand, n that was 25 yrs ago, with a discount for helping out with the drillers. How deep ya have to go, 400' here js...
