Loving the vids, they are turning me towards getting guineas, I really am thinking of getting a trio to start my own mini flock, any chance of more videos
I love your flock - you've given me some wonderful idea for my flock here in Australia... they are HILARIOUS! Perhaps I should get out with a camera and take some video... Is your flock all one family? I have 2 parents, 17 eggs hatched and reared to adults just heading out into their first summer to eat tonnes of ticks before they bite me! Because my guineas are all related (except the parents) I figure it's not a good idea to assist them in breeding (ie: incubate their eggs), but I figure that won't stop them from laying so now I'm off to find some windfallen logs to arrange near where they sleep so they have some choice (safe) places to lay
Please I have a question, Can a guinea flow still lay eggs and hatch if the feathers are peal off or cut constantly ? (peal off or cut so that thay won't away) Thanks for your answer.
Are you saying your GF is losing feathers? Unlikely to lay when under stress... losing feathers could be a moult - which is stressful for the body, so I would say: unlikely. But I'm reading between your words to ascertain your question... I'm assuming the word 'cut' is not to say that you have been cutting your birds feathers.... because why would you? Guinea fowl are so wonderfully adept at avoiding a predator by flying up that nobody would purposefully cut their feathers... right?
I love Guineas. Easiest part of my day lol they care for themselves so well.

Have they hatched the eggs on their own or you have had hatched the eggs from incubator?
They don't hatch easily unless you add to Hen
They seriously look like ostriches when they run around, their wings open up at the back a little and they fluff up slightly-
