I randomly planted an avocado seed under the soil mixed with coffee in a whiskey glass just for the sake of an experiment and the seed grew into a sapling to my surprise in about a week. I soon transferred the growing sapling into a pot in my balcony garden. It's well fed and is growing healthy.😊
hey man, i did mine the easy way, i soaked the seed in warm water(until it cooled) then left it to soak submerged overnight, then in the morning i placed it in a pot plant to the side of a flower that was already growing, it sprouted and when it was just a sprout i transplanted it to a garden where i watered it every so often, when it got established i transferred it again to a large planter made out of a 200 gallon plastic drum cut in half.. it really took off then... its about 2ft tall with a lot of leaves that have started turning purple. (i don't really look after it anymore, i live in NZ so it gets watered when it rains) someone told me the other day that it will never produce fruit because it was an avocado bought from a store and that they breed them to not produce from seed growth only from clones of the parent and that the tree I'm growing will be a male fruitless tree... is this correct? am i wasting my time? i would like some avocados for guac for my nachos.... and this thing is really taking off...
its in limbo mode atm, i am going to transfer it from its plastic barrel to a earth, i went away for a couple of months and no one at my house looked after it so i wilted, i watered it and looked after it for a few days and it immediately bounced back, now i gotta find a permanent location for it...
Thanks for sharing,, I'm in South Africa n want to do this as well. So I want to transfer mine to a garden instead of a pot. You reckon it will still work?? Sprout I mean??
Found this video in mid summer and tried it. I wanted to say I did everything he said and my avocado is now potted in soil and about 6 inches tall. It stopped growing for months at about 4 inches tall until I cut off 2 leaves and the thing grew an additional 2 inches in 2 weeks over a snowy Canadian Christmas. My avocado is in door in a 6 inch diameter self watering plant places beside a heat register but facing out the window. I used potting soil and a bit of miracle grow. I water it often because the soil dries up fast due to the heater. Hope this helps.
We did this last year as a school project. Of the 12 seeds, only one sprouted roots. End of the school year (May), Tree was 13 inches tall. 13 months later, it stands about 2 1/2 feet tall (cool colors on the plant too). This year, I added a grow light to see if it would help - Started August 24th, Today Sept 20 - 8 roots out of 23 seeds, with several more looking to sprout. Hoping to have 15 trees over 20 inches by the end of the school year.
Jay Weerman I found two in my compost heap. One if them 12 inches tall. I grew one from a seed many years ago, it makes a nice plant, but it takes 17/18 years to get fruit apparently.

I used this method and the seeds usually sprouted, but not every time. But then I discovered an improvement to this method and the seeds will sprout EVERY SINGLE TIME, no exceptions. This works 100%. Here it is: After you peel the skin off, take a small knife and run it through the seams on the seed. You'll see the seams clearly - it is where the seed would naturally crack open. Using the small knife you wanna open the seed yourself, BUT make sure that the two halves remain connected with the middle part (the little thing that the plant actually grows from). If you do it so that in the end you can slightly shake both halves independent from one another, but that small thing in the middle still holds them together, you've done it right, after that do the standard toothpick thing with the glass of water and the plant will sprout 100% because the sprouting part will be in direct contact with water. The seed sprouted every single time I tried this, without a single exception.
Thank you!! I tried this before, and this is the first time I heard about peeling the stone. Had no idea. I had one before and nothing was happening for over a month. Incredible video! Super helpful. I’m an Agroforestry Peace Corps volunteer in Guinea and this video was able to better instruct me with how to grow avocados. Now I work with a farmer and we have an avocado plantation of over 100 trees growing ready to be grafted thanks to this video!
YOu realise through the video and stages, you never actually mentioned how long it's taking. You just say stuff like 'its been a little while' haha. So frustrating. Does it take 3 days or 6 months? lol
The stage in the final clip is about 4-6months, it really depends on sunlight, it will take about 5-6months to get actual foliage like tangible leaves, but like I said, the most important parts is not letting the root go dry EVER, and lots of sunlight, a well lit window sill is perfect.
As an Arborist, I would recommend a Deeper glass and as the root you have there ran out of space, and started curling (Girdling root) which when planted, the roots and tree will grow but the Girdling (spiral Root) will eventually strangle the main root causing the tree to receive less nutrients and water from the soil and eventually decay the tree and kill it.
Take the video all the way through to potting of the tree and beyond. I'd love to see one of these seed starting videos culminate in a tree producing fruit!
Joe Takacs you would need another avocado nearby for pollination but even then it’s highly unlikely that you would get edible fruit. The only way to do it is graft a known variety on to your root stock. It’s the same with apples, citrus and most other fruit trees.

Hi MrEastCoastMan, I’m from SA. Saw your video about three months ago and it gave me the inspiration to start growing. I have successfully grown 87 avo pits which are now in bags. Your tip about peeling the pits was very valuable. I left one pit with its skin and it’s not even a quarter the way those without. Thanks so much I’m really enjoying my new venture.
Hi... I have tried for 50 yrs. to grow an avocado 🌳 tree... This is a totally new way to do it... I'm going to try it...😊😊😊😊😊 You have given me new Hope... THANKS
I get immediate results and had the best results with using the plastic bag and some water not over soaking but enough to keep the moisture after you peeled the seed and work for me every time
You are so right about peeling the skin from the pit. This past year I had one pit that was getting the Taproot and everything however it is still have the skin on it so it wasn't doing what it should be doing. Thanks for this video!
Nice timelapse! Always good to see fellow green thumbs! My method is this. 1.Get a plastic ziplock bag. 2.Wet a paper towel and squeeze it out just enough that it isn't dripping but still very wet. 3. Wash the avocado seed off in warm/cold water. 4.Wrap the seed so that it is mostly covered and put it in the bag. 5. Close the bag and leave it on the counter in the sun if you have it (not necessary). 6. Check periodically for the seed splitting and starting to grow a root. If the brown outer skin starts looking slimy take it out and it should peel or scrape off easily. Once it gets a decent root and you see a shoot or green nub pot it in some kind of topsoil (nub up root down). You can even gently pack soil in the ziplock and let it grow in there until it is a bit bigger. This method is just easier for me because I can throw multiple pits into a bag and start them all at once.
Hey great idea the time lapse . Perhaps next time you might mention how long each stage was that you showed . I don't know if that was 3 hours or 3 years .
omg i have tried this before a couple of times and thanks to this video i realized i have been putting the seed in the glass up side down... no wonder it didnt work.
+Zara Kuyah you can wait til it has sprouted from the top and pot it. i would not put it in the ground until it had leaves. pending on you climate also at 45° they will not survive.
After watching this video 5 weeks ago i have put 2 seeds in a cup as instructed. I waited and waited and waited and after 3 weeks the seeds started showing signs of splitting, on the 4th the opened and now on the 5th week the roots are vaguely showing. So my final answer is you have to be BLOODY patient !!! Hope that this helps. In my opinion this should have been pointed out in the video :-@
I used your video to show my granddaughter how it's done. We have one started. She visits every summer and I look forward to her coming back next summer and see how's its grown. We live in middle TN and she is in Florida. It may be a challenge in the winter because our windows have a special UV block in them. I've been sending her shots of the progress. In any event, we enjoyed your clip and look forward to seeing more of them!! Thank you.
This is a great video! Someone told my son (7yo) that you can grow an avocado tree from a pit. Well, both being in Canada and not agriculturally inclined (at all) I was a bit concerned that it would end up being a huge flop. Its been about 3 months and we now have one longish root out the bottom 😁 he is so thrilled! Thanks for showing the different stages.
Weeee. Happy I found u. Can't wait to start. What do u do after u get the tree started? Keep in water? When do u plant in dirt? And I'm guessing by ur video that it stays in the house? Very exciting. I eat at least 2-3 a day.
After the roots have sprouted and the plant has held up its leaves for about two weeks, it's time to gently put the plant into soil. Keeping the plant inside or putting it outside will depend on the temperature outside where you live. It's a tropical plant so we decided wouldn't put it outside all year round.
Beware that the avocado tree grown from seed may not produce fruit of the same cultivar (eg. Hass). That's because the pros probably use special pollination techniques to produce that particular cultivar, but the seed that you saved from eating the market-bought fruit was most likely pollinated quite randomly in nature, and most likely not going to produce the same type of fruit. I suggest not wasting the 7-8 years of time taking care of the tree and find out it does not produce the right fruit. Why take your chances when you can get the exact right kind of tree for about $20? I'm speaking from experience. Grown one from a Hass seed, after about 8 yrs, it produced a purple skin fruit with yellowish and watery flesh. So i had to chop it off. I'm not a pro gardener trying to discourage people from buying. Just trying to help fellow inexperience gardeners.
This is very true and applies to many other fruiting trees as well. It takes years and years for an avocado tree to finally produce fruit. Yes it's fun to grow your own but go buy a $20 plant if you actually want it to bear edible fruit in reasonable time. You'll also save a lot of $$ on water (looking at you Californians).
***** why would you nee to? I don't know that. They look different from tree to tree. Just look for two thing that would grow at the same spot but would look different
I was just talking about this with my grandma. She actually grew one by just planting the seed and didn't follow any special procedure, she's visiting from Mexico though where I think it might be easier to achieve. I'll probably follow this guide though. Thanks for sharing!
@@torb1trick415 a lady in the comments said that she planted one with coffee and soil and it worked really well compared to the video's method. I'll probably try both
510jesus seeds grow at different times there are many other factors than the growing method like: ripeness, size. temprature, humidity and light. simply saying one way is better is not correct
That seems far more work than what i did. I sat avocado seeds on top of some soil in pots in spring, They are now 4 ft tall plants. You don't need to remove anything off of it or make anything difficult. Every seed i sat on the soil and watered once a week grew. I use to try to start them how you show and had a lot of them fail. when i quit trying so hard and left it to grow more natural they all sprouted and grew. I currently have 5 trees.
Ya well in some parts of the world, mine being Canada, we have cold soil for over 8 months out of the year. We don't have the time or conditions to plant an avocado seed and watch it grow in the few short warm months. And nothing about this is that complicated. I put my seed in a cup of water and it grew on its own, without meddling. How is that complicated?
I watched this video because I just ate an avocado and thought why not, try to get a tree from this seed. The only problem is I am not too sure about what side is up and what side is down. One end comes to a bit of a point, so I think it might be the bottom, the other end looks like the top from his top in the video, but I am still not sure. I will hope for the best! Thank you very much for the info Mr. EastCoastMan. Oh yeah, thanks to some comments on this video I will be saving several more seeds in the hopes of pollination.
@@TheRipeTomatoFarms That is what I thought, but I wasn't sure. That is the way I did it. It has been 3 weeks and all it has done is cracked open so far. Still waiting to see roots.
awesome ty ... but when u plant them .... we need to keep them indoors, right? and can u show us a tree you did from scratch with avacados growing on them? thx
You might want to googlize "do avocado trees grown from seed ever produce fruit?" Or "hass avocado origin". All hass trees are grafts from one, and only one tree. And that one tree was patented because it can't be reproduced from seed. Only grafted. Chances are, no hass, or any other avo seed will ever grow grow hass fruit. Rudolph Hass was just a really, really lucky guy.
if you read up on avocado on wiki it will tell you that yeah they do need a lot of sunlight if you plan to grow it as an indoor plant but the windowsill is ok I guess for this stage of growth. I'd want to eventually put it outside so you can get its yummy fruits.
Kenny Carter What made you ask that? Who brought that up apart from yourself? I doubt that it would survive that kind of temperature as it's a hot climate fruiting tree.
TheRangeControl i am currently growing an avokado tree, And today is the 29th day for my avocado, and the only thing that’s happend is that it has cracked from the middle, and you can see the root from the inside. But it hasn’t come out if you know. So it takes about 4-6 weeks before you can plant it in a pot
Can you hear his accent? Hes git a pretty strong (to me) Canadian accent. Im guessing Eatern ish by the way it sounds but its in his name too. :) You can really heart it when he says out and sprouted. The 'ow' sound like when you say owl you know? Uts a bit exxagerated for someone in the states, kinda like in the midwest, same thing. :)
Danelle Malchus not helpful that he left out all the details which tells me he doesn't know...anyone can root a seed in water but potting up is totally diff if u actually want a tree..
oh my bad. Sorry I misread that. I imagine you should wait until it's similar to how it is in the last photo it shows, where the roots are grown out (and stronger so that they don't break when you pot it or put it in soil) and it has a few leaves.
I actually prepared it the exact same way he did. The leaves only started growing about a month and a half in. But I'm in Malaysia where its pretty humid so I'm not too sure if it would the same results for you. I first planted it in July and it is only about 6 inches tall now. I used an Australian avocado. I tried it with the African (i think) avocado and it wouldnt grow. =/

I have been starting my seeds upside down this whole time. DOH! Thanks!
Joseph Sepulveda actually if u look it up it says that the part where it was hanging should go in the water, NOT the pointy part
same, i have done it to 5 seeds
you guys did right!
he messed up!
How to grow avocado tree from seed - "1st thing you gonna need is an avocado". Thank you for the reminder. It didn't cross my mind, you need one.

Hi... I have tried for 50 yrs. to grow an avocado 🌳 tree...
This is a totally new way to do it...
I'm going to try it...😊😊😊😊😊
You have given me new Hope...
THANKS
THIS Video helped me a lot now I have a small business of selling avos
"i dont care about how other people do it,i only care about how i do it" like a boss
Just subscribed! Now I'm running into the kitchen to go peel my avocado pit!
I get immediate results and had the best results with using the plastic bag and some water not over soaking but enough to keep the moisture after you peeled the seed and work for me every time
Your child is very upset that the root takes a very long time to grow back if it's broken.
.
Cin Rose how are y
Walid Zeghoum Sad cos none of my plants grew, most likely because my son replaced the water with pickle juice.
Cin Rose
we just threw the pitt out in the yard and they grew by themselves.
Cin Rose his pull out game is weak as fuck
i literally just got on youtube and i started with watching how to grow a rose in a potato now this
Jessica Thompson wow, i did the same thing.
Jessica Thompson me too
Same
I recommend watching how to grow a lemon tree in a potato and how to make an igloo.
Jessica Thompson i saw the rose potato thing but didnt watch it i was like whuuu haha
the flatter part goes in the water and the pointer part at the top
Tania Vallorani thank you this is better clarification. I finally flipped mine a few weeks ago and root started shooting out shortly after
Thank you i was so confused
You are so right about peeling the skin from the pit. This past year I had one pit that was getting the Taproot and everything however it is still have the skin on it so it wasn't doing what it should be doing. Thanks for this video!
"this is my bottom and you can see the crack" 😂😂😂😂😂
Omg🤣🤣 that made my mind go to jupiters
I don’t even like avocados and I’m making an avacado tree
Just like me and chili.

now after 2 months i watch you i have 3 new avocado trees uk. Thank you so much
I wish you would have said how long it took to get to each stage.. A week? Month? Days?
right but im pretty sure it takes a month to root and so on..
Steve Villarruel Thanks!
+Alissa Randy no problem
+Alissa Randy apparently it takes around 2-4 weeks for the root to start appearing and i'm not sure about the sprout..
well depending on where you live it could take up to a month what mr eastcoast man said
This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I just planted an avocado seed using your method and another in soil. Wish me luck. 👍🏽
Please keep post. Maybe a utube video
I’m making guacamole then I’m going to use the seed for a house plant. As I saw in the video, it’s beautiful!
This method is just easier for me because I can throw multiple pits into a bag and start them all at once.
you know it's weird when your wife complains about the plants you're growing
Gửi là u mê Drolet
Guillaume Drolet why?
Yeah i was like "dude get a divorce now!" Lol... srs tho she doesnt sound very nice
fuck her man, if you want to grow marijuana that up to you brother
Guillaume Drolet yea it kinda is but mine doesn't like all the ones I am growing and have inside either so I understand
Yooo I’m eating a avocado while watching how to grow an avocado tree
I'm drinking avocado, banana, & coconut water. Looks like I'm not getting free avocado anytime soon 😤
Truly beautiful plants my mom grow them all the time
and hers became trees. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your video 🤗
Man UA-cam is just really out here educating people on things we all just about thought of and finally can get answers to and do!
Hey great idea the time lapse . Perhaps next time you might mention how long each stage was that you showed . I don't know if that was 3 hours or 3 years .
bull frogger 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
I wish that he had actually given a specific timeline for the development.
omg i have tried this before a couple of times and thanks to this video i realized i have been putting the seed in the glass up side down... no wonder it didnt work.
lol
Fantazztik ^ that comment just made it so funny!!
Luna Mae lol.
What a great green thumb you've been blessed with! Your wife should be grateful you have such patience and are plant smart, really. Grow on, Dude!
i just have 1 question. will it grow faster if i put redbull instead of water?
SuperViewer it might get wings and fly away...wouldn't take that chance
Red bull gives you wings not avocados, steroids might work tho🤷♂️
Try using brawndo. It’s got what plants crave
Try Viagra!
Yes

I know this vid is two years old but I have to ask, when do I take the sprout out of the cup to transfer it to the ground?
CAN SOMEONE ANSWER HIS QUESTION? I NEED THE SAME ANSWER TOO
+Zara Kuyah when it sprouts you should transfer to a pot or the ground
what if the stem still soft?
Thank you.
This would be great for a science experiment 😊
Do it!Do it!Do it!Do it!
Or for growing avacodos🙂
I wish you would've shared the amount of time that had lapsed between each update... I'm extremely curious. Bummer ;/
Marion Caffroy agree totally..his lack of details frustrating
Long time
I agree, it was kind of pointless otherwise
Just saying but im in. The uk and mine is growing
Coffee grounds count as soil you know
I tried this today an really exited to see the out come of my avocado trees 🤗🤗
Star Alvarez how is your avo tree going now 1yr later?
@@LewballAdventureTime don't you just hate it when people don't update lol
It grew into a monster and ate him
This is a great video!
Mr EastCoastMan thank u so much.
Enyone 2019??
Yes bro
Yep 2019 and I’m still waiting to find out when to put it in a soil?
Anyone?
2020
It's fun growing your own
This is very true and applies to many other fruiting trees as well. It takes years and years for an avocado tree to finally produce fruit. Yes it's fun to grow your own but go buy a $20 plant if you actually want it to bear edible fruit in reasonable time. You'll also save a lot of $$ on water (looking at you Californians).
Get two seeds, they have "female Parts" and "Male Parts". Put them next to each other and they will be right (Sorry for my Bad English, I'm German)
***** Because all plants have
***** why would you nee to? I don't know that. They look different from tree to tree. Just look for two thing that would grow at the same spot but would look different
I was just talking about this with my grandma. She actually grew one by just planting the seed and didn't follow any special procedure, she's visiting from Mexico though where I think it might be easier to achieve. I'll probably follow this guide though. Thanks for sharing!
yeah this way is faster cuz the seed wants to split and the soil prevents it by pushing it. the water doesnt hold the seed together
Its an Avocado!!!!
Yay!!!!!
thaaaaanks
Kangil Obong you did it wrong
Yeah so it is
That seems far more work than what i did.
Jennifer H cool I think I will just do that instead lolssssd
Jennifer H did you orient them before sitting them on the soil??
Will avocados grow on it?
Ya well in some parts of the world, mine being Canada, we have cold soil for over 8 months out of the year. We don't have the time or conditions to plant an avocado seed and watch it grow in the few short warm months. And nothing about this is that complicated. I put my seed in a cup of water and it grew on its own, without meddling. How is that complicated?
Jennifer & Teddy Service dog team then if your the avocoda expert grower then why are u watching this?
after the last stage you can put it in the ground? and have you poured more water into the cup throughout the process?
Livia water needs to be changed couple times a week...don't know why he does t mention that...or otherwise mold will form..
The end with the point is shoot side (top), and the end with a blunt or even depressed side is the root size (bottom). Bottom goes in the water.
@@TheRipeTomatoFarms That is what I thought, but I wasn't sure. That is the way I did it. It has been 3 weeks and all it has done is cracked open so far. Still waiting to see roots.
@@Mistyvalentine yup, it's following the right schedule... I would check the temperature to maybe speed things along. Cheers!

When do you move the sprout to soil?
Dear Mr. EastCoastMan,
Thank You so much. I have been following your tips and my seeds are sprouting.

How to grow avocado..?
First thing you'll need is avocado lol
I've never had any luck with those! It never occured 2 me 2 peel it first. I'll try again.😁
I like the carmo dress of the baby - and your plant 😄
Thanks for taking the time to put this video together. I'll pick up an avocado and give it a try. I'd love to have a nice plant. P.S. You are cute.
What do you do next? Do you keep it in the cup, or transplant it? An answer would be appreciated!
+Aidan Reeves once a plant has leaves its okay to put it in soil. keep it inside until its bigger and you think it can handle outside elements.
+JoeyBooey thanks!
awesome ty ... but when u plant them .... we need to keep them indoors, right? and can u show us a tree you did from scratch with avacados growing on them? thx
Long Island Teresa
You can keep them outdoors in temperatures above 45°F, but you do have to watch out for pests!
Rudolph Hass was just a really, really lucky guy.
does it need a lot of sunlight ?? how long did yours take ???
if you read up on avocado on wiki it will tell you that yeah they do need a lot of sunlight if you plan to grow it as an indoor plant but the windowsill is ok I guess for this stage of growth. I'd want to eventually put it outside so you can get its yummy fruits.
So it can handle cold winters? down to 40 below? doubt it
Kenny Carter
What made you ask that? Who brought that up apart from yourself? I doubt that it would survive that kind of temperature as it's a hot climate fruiting tree.
you said you would want to put it outside eventually. so I thought you meant any kind of environment
Kenny Carter
I only live in one part of the world at any one given time.
I just did mine exactly how you showed us. I believed in you because I didn't screw up lol 🙂
Did you have to change the water? How often?
About once a week :)
+Morten F tap water, purified water, or filtered water?
I'm using tap water.
Sooner Science Nerd I'm using tap water too.
Tap water is OK. Distilled is OK. Spring water is best.
We accidentally started growing an avocado tree and we have no where to put it smh
I have 4 avocado trees, all sprout from the seeds by themselves in the compost bin, going on 3rd year, can't wait for some avocados!
Thanks for the video but a progress stage by the days or weeks would have been nice to know.
You came back "after a little while"?
What does that mean?:
Is it three hours or four weeks?
TheRangeControl i am currently growing an avokado tree, And today is the 29th day for my avocado, and the only thing that’s happend is that it has cracked from the middle, and you can see the root from the inside. But it hasn’t come out if you know. So it takes about 4-6 weeks before you can plant it in a pot
TheRangeControl from the time you start until you see leaves is probably about 4 months. at least that's how it was for me
@@leahorangebaker1429 AWESOME!
Thank you.
Do you change the water the seed is in during the process or just continue to add water to the cup?
Just set my seeds (6) in the windowsill , guess I’ll check on them in a ‘little while’ 😂 I’m exited
I love plants
I came across your video, I really love avocado's and want to plant one at home. That's alot 👍 will try it.
how long did it take for you to come to the first stage?
How long did it take for your plant to be at that final shot....and where do you live? What kind of climate?
Can you hear his accent? Hes git a pretty strong (to me) Canadian accent. Im guessing Eatern ish by the way it sounds but its in his name too. :)
You can really heart it when he says out and sprouted. The 'ow' sound like when you say owl you know? Uts a bit exxagerated for someone in the states, kinda like in the midwest, same thing. :)
other clues: username is Mr. EastCoastMan, t-shirt is for a New Brunswick motorcycle club.
James Crawford well what if we are from Europe and not familiar with all these hints?! Isn't it easier to ask?
Danelle Malchus not helpful that he left out all the details which tells me he doesn't know...anyone can root a seed in water but potting up is totally diff if u actually want a tree..
At what point can you take it out of the cup and put it in soil?
of course..
I asked at what point can I put it in soil, I wasn't asking if I could.
oh my bad. Sorry I misread that. I imagine you should wait until it's similar to how it is in the last photo it shows, where the roots are grown out (and stronger so that they don't break when you pot it or put it in soil) and it has a few leaves.
Wallywutsizface As soon as you see the root put in in soil.
don't be such a brat
Thanks for the tip. I'm literally getting up off the couch to start peeling an avocado seed right now.
Do you have to replace the cup after root grow up..do you have to have it on sunshine.
Yes avocado make guacamole arrrrriba
lmaoo
How did you peel the outside skin ? Did you just brush it off ?
Thank you for posting this. I had no idea that you had to take the skin off. No wonder I failed in the past.
From the time you put the pit in the water and to the point of where the leaves are growing, how long did that take/
I actually prepared it the exact same way he did. =/
This is really cool how do you grow olive trees?
When do you plant it in the ground
I would like to know that as wall, when to plant in a pot.
Me too

When it has leaves
When it starts growing avocados
Thank you so much! Just set my seed up a few days ago and never knew about the peeling of the pit!
I put an avocado seed into my pet hamsters' cage and they peeled the seed. LYFE HAX CONFIRMED!!!
