thanks for the updated build! I've been rocking staff/wand in lower dungeons to add more dps, but in trials I definitely have to switch over to more healing output.
I love your videos! And lol, we're basically playing almost the same build & l've been a healer in FFXIV for over 10 years, and now I absolutely love healing in T&L!
Hey healers! One minor correction, range from Perception impacts the distance of when we can heal someone, but it does not increase the radius of our Clay's Salvation. My mistake and thanks for watching!
Nice build, i play it different and use healing touch instead of swift healing. Swift healing is only for emergency where in some runs i dont use it all. Even with 70 strenght i have no mana issues at all and can keep everyone alive easy.
To be honest a lot of the groups survival isnt even up to the healer. Lots of times, people get wayyyyyy too far away from me and I can’t reach them. Others, they just dont block. I always say “i can’t heal dead, block”.
So I'm new to the game. I actually started playing on New years Day and been playing the wand/ bow healer and loving it. My question is, are you using this build just for trials, or is it viable for 2 star dungeons as well? I'm obviously still learning the game, but I've always enjoyed healing in other games, and I'm trying to find the build I should try and focus on to start with.
Hey healers! For those using wand and longbow, are you experiencing any mana issues? I’m currently using a wand and staff, so I don’t worry much about mana thanks to Inner Peace. I also don’t need to include mana regen as It save me a slot to add a different traits on my equipments.
Unfortunately I heard on the discord and reddit that the skill resistance debuff does not work for others, only you. After testing I came to the same conclusion. I have put the skill specialisation with 220 boost, so I can give it to a staff/longbow or another good dps.
I know you have a video up on this topic & I seen it a while back and can’t recall but since I’m watching this video I’ll ask lol, so staff wand has felt underwhelming for healing. Might be gear not being where I need it to be but my question is should I just swap off staff and go into bow for healing ? My healer is just for that to heal my party when need too.
Hey! Thanks for the question. So if you want to be a pure healer without doing much damage than the Bow/Wand is for you. Staff/Wand plays more of that support style where you can do a lot more damage, but less healing overall. I'd say before switching, maybe try out the Bow to see if it feels good for you! That way you don't waste your skill transfer books. Hope this helps a little!
Thanks for the build but your comment was you was going to go over your gear but you only went over the four peice of the ascended gear your using you didn’t go over the rest of your gear. So could you let us know what else your using for the build plz ty
You may want to use Vampiric Contract healer passive. Since you are using curses constantly, your teammates can get passive healing off the target. In the end, it's a toss up between that and hourglass, but if the dungeon is challenging, any passive heals/heals over time are helpful!
Hey, thank you so much! Yeah, so I tried that out and honestly I wasn't impressed with the heals since I'm not doing too much damage, but realistically, most of the passives for PvE are tough to vouge for haha. Thank you!
Vampiric contract is amazing as wand and staff user as u can pump the damage constantly with dots and fireballs easy to keep the whole team up just by dpsing. Throw in the odd heal here and there and ur golden + doing a ton of damage. I was bow/wand but don't think il ever go back+ all the heavy attack heals and crits from dex
@@llucas9758 I started testing out vamp contract and it's not terrible but only seems to heal 1 person closest to the target enemy. Staff/wand is great dps! Shit for heala. I decided to stop focusing on staff and move all my skill books to wand and bow so that I can maximize my output. So I grind with bow/wand now too and it's not terrible but staff and wand together for aoe grinding is the bees knees.
@Exile8oh8 the vampiric heals, if u have that target selected, so usually I just use to keep up the tank, the heal has a large range on it I think distance of ur currently used wep so if u stand near tank on boss u should reach entire party and cycle through

Brilliant vid dude. Best healer content iv seen so far
Great guide again, J! I tried this out in a T3 Island and it worked very well. 🙂
Glad it worked out! Let me know how far you make it in the trials!
Thanks and this is helpful and it's appreciated. You should consider adding a link to GG for your gear and build.
I love your videos!

Love this video ❤❤❤
When you log in and see your exact load out… Lol. At least I know I am on the right track :) Great video!

"when we can heal someone"? As in heals that require targets?
Correct! @@iZestos
Time to scratch the build 😂 jk a bit of range is for sure good in general even for certain mech etc.
Great vid I swap clay salvation for Janice rage and but besides that same bar

If i recall time for punishment is just for yourself.. if u want it to be for your party you can spec it to be put on a party member of your choosing

No mana issue
No, I don't have any mana problems, not even when it's just me and the tank left alive 😊
Right, do you guys include traits; mana regen and max mana or without it and you’re still doing fine?
@@julialoke5128 Yes, I have mana cost efficiency and other mana traits on some items.
I almost never run out of mana. 😊Even for the longer fights.
I didn't know you were using the Ascended set. I have a 4 piece right now also lol. Nice - Dankhunter
You'll become the best Bow/Wand in the guild soon enough!

use fighting spirit for blessed barrier if you have scorpion on your team, it help giving more damage. BIG damage less mechanic😊
Any chance you have a build link!

Absolutely, I'll do a video on my build! If you head to my channel, I have a couple links to my builds in the meantime!

Good evening friend, can you tell me how I can join the group in the dimension? It was on PS5 too and I don't see how to get in
Hey! So when you go to co-op dungeon, scroll over to dimensional Dungeon, then hit party board at the bottom right to join a group!
How much do u heal?
I tried but max heal doesnt get more than 6k n im at 4.1cp
lol
Dam ur broke :)
