i recommend: ON, Blood, sweat and tears, i need you, idol, fake love and actually soo many good b-side 😭 louder than bombs is masterpiece I SWEAR ‼️‼️‼️
Btss songs arent awkward cause bts are real musicians , they don’t have concepts for aesthetics and visuals like kpop, they have meaningful stories to tell on their albums, that’s one of the reasons why the became not just the most popular kpop group but the biggest boyband in the world, the youngest most awarded artist in the world, you really need to learn their story, I would recommend guide to bts by Taylor Marie for the start to know a little more about them , you will appreciate them more
They decide virtually EVERYTHING using Rock Paper Scissors. 😂 It’s easy to see in their behind the scenes content but also in some concert and interview settings. I didn’t know they were titled ambassadors of it but it does not surprise me in the slightest.
BTS is the biggest group to come out of the K-pop industry but what is more important to understand is that they are actually the biggest group worldwide period. Whether it be from the K-pop industry of the Western music industry.
BTS is their own genre. They write the majority of their own songs, and their lyrics are art. Watching the Taylor Mari Guide will give you some insight into the member's backgrounds and training prior to BTS.
BTS do all genres of music, not just pop. They started as a hip-hop group, so their roots are hip-hop. No two songs sound the same with BTS, which is why i love them. I recommend watching live performance they are best live. Run BTS live in Busan, Outro Tear live with English subtitles, hip-hop phile live. Jimin is the best dancer in kpop. He actually has a black belt in taekwondo when you mention martial arts.
My manager was like that with me last week (thinking i should be embarrassed for liking kpop, though i only like BTS) for she was shocked when i defended my love for them. Also Boy with Luv is a mixed English and Korean song many of their songs have a mix, also the arrangement of the song is perfect. Halsey is actually a gem!
OMG don't get me started on how annoying it is that song are so short but BTS make song because they love making songs, they're (or atleast RM) has made it know he doesn't like the idea of conforming to shortening the songs just for popularity.
YES!! that is Park Jimin Before he was studying contemporary dance style and he became the top student of his modern dance department and He was learning hip-hop at the age of 15 He also trained kendo and taekwondo for 8 years so he mixed all that in his danceing style and he has a really charming charisma and a big stage presence SO attention comes easily to jimin that's what we call the jimin effect ✨✨✨
BTS is currently on hiatus since 2022 bc they are serving in the military but jin (oldest memebr who went first) is coming back in 5 days so it's officially the time where they are starting to come back, and since bts's discography is soooo huge anyways you'll always have content of them to seek before they do their awaited comeback.
You saying Jin has big eyes cracked me up. Especially since it’s a thing between army(their fandom) and them that he is Mr world wide handsome. Like an inside joke.
Most of BTS's songs have a huge message, that's why we love them. It's not even about their visuals, people fall in love with their songs. If you continue to react you will realize that there is no such thing as "sounds like K-pop" if it's BTS, in some ways BTS pioneered what most K-pop groups are doing now
BTS are really the legends of K-pop and I’m glad you enjoyed their music. Even if I stan multiple groups right now, BTS will always have a special place in my heart since they were the ones that got me into K-pop.
Icarus is from greek mytgology. He built some wings to escape and was warned not to go too close to the sun, but he didn't listen and because he flies so hight the wings melt and he falls. It's kind of a story about excessive ambition, but it is very complex, I tried to make it very very short. BTS's lyrics are a very important part of their appeal, they often refference books, psychology, they touch a lot of hard subjects too like mental health. So a lot of people will comment about that in the future, just keep in mind 🙂
actually bts has so many diverse songs and they are VERY good. You should definitely listen to more!!! black swan is one of my favourites too. So much really good solo music too !!!
Black Swan MV is what shoved me down the rabbit hole. Beyond that, it’s a beautifully crafted song as you noticed. Amazing and deep lyrics, the beat and interesting instrumentation, and just perfectly produced. The placement isn’t awkward because they’re truly students of hip hop and instinctually work with the beat. Jimin is a stunning dancer and one of the two main dancers. I truly believe BTS has two of the best dancers in K-pop. I prefer Jimin’s style (he’s my bias), but that in no way detracts from jhope’s talent, which I respect. I don’t get people trying to argue one is better than the other. They’re both astoundingly talented with very different styles, which makes it impossible to compare.
Me too. I kept talking to the screen “But it’s not an English song”. He proceeds to re watch it and still notes he’s listened to their English songs but didn’t yet know this one 😭. Seems like he was so into it, just vibing and didn’t catch the Korean.
I heard bts title tracks each year they were released even though I wasn’t into kpop, they were just popular, I liked but I didn’t realised it was all the same group😆 but in 2020 I heard black swan on tiktok and it changed my life FOR REAL, made me a stan of someone for the first time so I understand you very well

I truly believe BTS best song are the ones in the albums, that discrography shows indeed why they are that huge Also yes, black swan has a dance practice Jimin also did a solo dance version of black swan, you need to check it out. You mentioned TEN, and yes both jimin and TEN along with other idols are the best dancers in the industry. Jimin does a lot of contemporary dance so that is why he is supper good BTS also is very rap oriented, even though it doesn’t look like that. But the rap line of the group, it is just another level The rap line is credited in most of production and lyrics for the songs. But overall the members are very immersed in the process of the songs. Literally they can do everything
The majority of my favourite BTS tracks are not actually their main single releases but their b sides, although Black Swan and N.O. (from the old days!) are standouts for me. I have honestly never known an artist ever with such a strong discography. They literally make no skip albums. Looking forward to your next BTS compilation! And a great reaction, so nice to see you enjoying their music.💜
I'm just going to answer questions as I hear them: 1. Boy with Love: Halsey has a verse in the Spotify version, but since she's not going to be around for most of their performances, she's not in the "official" version. She shows up for their Billboard award performance, though. 2. DNA: did you notice that they're all wearing the numbered jerseys of famous basketball players?--usually their college numbers. 3. Black Swan: Has anyone mentioned the Martha Graham quote yet? Famous American contemporary dancer, said that dancers die two deaths, and the first, when they have to give up dancing, is the most painful. 4. Black Swan is part of their Map of the Soul album, which taps heavily into the psychological theories of Carl Jung. You have to accept the Shadow within yourself (the dark parts you repress) before you can become a fully actualized person. Remember that the theater in Boy With Luv had "Persona" as a name? Persona, Ego, and Shadow are the parts that need to get integrated. The shadows start out huge and out of control in Black Swan, but have shrunk by the end as they come to terms with their fears. 5, There's a gorgeous version of Dynamite done live at the 2020 MMA awards where they do a Michael Jackson tribute dance break. 6. You reacted very positively to Jimin in all of these videos-i think we're detecting a bias.
i can't wait to see him do more reaction to BTS they're so diverse so there's so much to see personally I recommend: Mic Drop, Run, Fire, Mikrokosmos and The Truth Untold PS: yes, Jimin is one of the main dancers with Jhope.
so i'm still watching and i just want to say that i really hope you'll check more bts not just music like guides and stuff i'm a fan of alot of groups but there's a reason why they're the biggest and it's not even the fact that they make great pop songs it's so much more than that and when you get to know them you'll see they're different
Recommendations: RUN BTS (you can see the dance practice with lyrics) Blood sweat and tears Not today Fake love Film out(Japanese single) Louder than bombs (b side) Airplane pt 2 If you are interested in checking their older stuff (debut years) my recommendations: Boy in luv Fire Dope Save me I need u Run
The rappers in BTS write all their verses. And contribute to many BTS song including ones sung by vocal line. This also includes production and composition. But all members have their hands in the music. And in their solo music you may see members like Suga who is credited for writing , producing and composition. . These guys no know pop group can reach their level.
Out of all Kpop bts has one widest range in their music catalog... Most Armys will dont like their eng songs.. And most of their songs carry a message they are trying to portray, that's why most of their fans resonate/ relate to them and also why we are very protective of them. Great songs to check out.: Blood sweat and tears Fake love Louder than bombs I need you Your eyes tell Film out Dope Airplane 2
Just so you know, Jungkook will have a new song out tomorrow! You need to pay more attention to the lyrics. It's Jimin with the blue hair in Black Swan.
#MoreBTS Suggestions: Blood Sweat & Tears Louder than bombs Idol Euphoria Not today Fake love Spring day (the Queen) We are Bullet proof pt2 Magic shop Pied piper On (kinetic manifesto) Run bts Fire Baepsae Attack on bangtan Dope Answer love myself Truth untold (vocal line) House of cards (vocal line) Ddaeng (rap line) Boy in love War of hormone No more dream (debut) Best of me So what Dionysus Your eyes tell (Japanese) Film out (Japanese) Butterfly Life goes on Danger Outro wings ( if wont stop here , i might list each and every bts songs here ) •Some solo songs :- Still With you (♥️) Filter Lie Epiphany Inner child Chicken noodle soup My time Begin Wild flower Daechwita
I enjoyed your reaction. Jimin is one of 4 in the dance-line of BTS and one of the 2 main dancers - the other is J Hope. Jimin is trained in contempory dance as well as other styles. If you love Dynamite, watch the official B side MV. It shows their goofier side with bloopers etc.
knowing bts songs through cookie run kingdom is crazyy lmaooo that is so funny 😭😭 i've heard of people getting to bts through beat saber but crk is amazing i love it 💜
BTS built the house (corporation) that NJ works for/in. BTS is their own genre. Kpop is an industry, not genre. BTS is the GREATEST GROUP IN THE WORLD! Most streams worlwide. Not just KPop.
I enjoyed your reaction...Please keep going there is a great BYS guide by Taylor Mari and so much content...On and off stage content...all of it is awesome
blood sweat and tears, save me, mic drop; and their solo stuffs are super cool too. i'll recommend one solo stuff of each member though there are so many fucking amazing stuffs: jungkook- standing next to you taehyung- rainy days jimin- like crazy namjoon- groin jhope- on the street suga- daechwita jin- astronaut
Haha…so true! I was confused when he kept saying it was an English track, that I had a brief second of “wait, it’s English??”… then I came to my senses 😂😂
You should listen to 'Come back to me' - it's 6 min 30, haha Also, for some context: - 'Boy With Love' is a song that answers an old song of theirs - 'Boy in Luv' (2014). It's an "updated" version of their view on love. It's also part of their 'Map of the Soul' era which is inspired by Carl Jung's 'Map of the Soul' book (he was a Swiss psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychologist). This is based on the persona principle, hence the name of the album - 'Map of the Soul: Persona'. Halsey does have a part in the album version, btw - 'DNA' is part of a trilogy of albums called 'Love Yourself'. The trilogy is a journey to self-love through various emotions and situations. 'DNA' is part of 'LY: Her', the first of the trilogy. It talks about a love that seems like destiny. Everything feels like it's perfect and meant to be. 'LY: Tear' is the opposite. Songs like 'Fake Love' (toxic relationships) and 'Outro: Tear' (a song from the Rap Line that they wrote when they thought about disbanding) embody the concept perfectly of 'LY: Tear'. Then 'LY: Answer' is about self-love with songs like 'Idol' or 'Epiphany' - 'Black Swan' is a song based on the quote of a famous dancer - Martha Graham. “A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is more painful.” It talks about their fear of losing their passion for their art. It's also part of their 'Map of the Soul' era, but this time it's based on the shadow principle
That was really fun! BTS is way beyond k-pop, other groups wish they could be like them. The three fully English songs are lightweight, meant to cheer us up during covid. Beyond those they have 400+ songs - all group, rap line, vocal, and solos, going back to 2013. You've barely scratched the surface. But keep going! They are fantastic. I liked what you said about embarrassment. I'm 69 years old and my family & friends were mean about it. I just don't call it k-pop, I call them BTS. Halsey doesn't know Korean. BTS has suffered so much hate, but that's what broke down some barriers for others.
If you liked blue hair guy's dancing in Black Swan here’s a little info abt him he is Park Jimin (1995) one of the best dancers in kpop. He studied contemporary dance at Busan High School and was a top student in the modern dance department. The influence that the years of his training in modern dance is evident even when he dances the choreos of other dance styles. No other male dancer in kpop can perform the moves he does in Black Swan and his solo Lie. You should check out "Lie" but there’s no proper full length MV so I recommend checking out the lyric video first any then this dance video it’s mesmerizing ua-cam.com/video/IUhmH7Qqkso/v-deo.htmlsi=y0XW7pJ620p4FAwz
You need to watch A Long but Helpful Guide to BTS as it will explain everything to you & help you to get to know the members on a more personal level and understand BTS & ARMY as a whole.
i recommend: ON, Blood, sweat and tears, i need you, idol, fake love
and actually soo many good b-side 😭 louder than bombs is masterpiece I SWEAR ‼️‼️‼️

5, There's a gorgeous version of Dynamite done live at the 2020 MMA awards where they do a Michael Jackson tribute dance break.
6. You reacted very positively to Jimin in all of these videos-i think we're detecting a bias.

hey! love your reactions. It would be nice seeing you react to some older BTS songs too. Like from 2013 to 2017
The rappers in BTS write all their verses.
Great songs to check out.:
Blood sweat and tears

Thanks for the reaction ,bro ❤️🩹🫂
bts have so many gems im soooo glad youre checking them out
I enjoyed your reaction. Jimin is one of 4 in the dance-line of BTS and one of the 2 main dancers - the other is J Hope. Jimin is trained in contempory dance as well as other styles.
If you love Dynamite, watch the official B side MV. It shows their goofier side with bloopers etc.
BTS does songs in Korean, English and Japanese. CNS by Jhope features Becky G in Spanish.
Dreamers by Jungkook features Faahd in Indian/Farsce(?).
knowing bts songs through cookie run kingdom is crazyy lmaooo that is so funny 😭😭 i've heard of people getting to bts through beat saber but crk is amazing i love it 💜
i love crk it was the best game of 2022 🙏
Youre so real for playing Cookie run kingdom 😭😭
Boy with Love is such a happy feelgood song.
BTS built the house (corporation) that NJ works for/in.
BTS is their own genre. Kpop is an industry, not genre.
BTS is the GREATEST GROUP IN THE WORLD! Most streams worlwide. Not just KPop.
You can watch the behind the scenes of Jim in dancing in Black Swan it’s crazy

when boy with love is so good u think its in english
Haha…so true! I was confused when he kept saying it was an English track, that I had a brief second of “wait, it’s English??”… then I came to my senses 😂😂
They do everything ..."21st Century Girls comeback satge"......."Am I Wrong Live "
Was JK hitting the high not at apex and then Jimin
You should listen to 'Come back to me' - it's 6 min 30, haha
Also, for some context:
- 'Boy With Love' is a song that answers an old song of theirs - 'Boy in Luv' (2014). Halsey does have a part in the album version, btw
- 'DNA' is part of a trilogy of albums called 'Love Yourself'. Then 'LY: Answer' is about self-love with songs like 'Idol' or 'Epiphany'
- 'Black Swan' is a song based on the quote of a famous dancer - Martha Graham.
You should check out "Lie" but there’s no proper full length MV so I recommend checking out the lyric video first any then this dance video it’s mesmerizing
