While I dislike how Hannah 's lawyer is working, I think it's amazing how it shows to her what it means if someone doesn't do their freaking work when her "life" is on the line.

Severe ADHD here. Find a job where you're busy and doing a lot of different jobs all at once. Emergency dispatch worked for me as does my current job playing with SQL databases. Writing SQL queries lets me use my hyper-focus, having to do a bunch of stuff all at once makes the flip-side of my ADHD happy. Also? Being bored is when I get myself into trouble. Both involve many small details at once which is perfect. Long-term projects are harder for me.
Linus is such a sweetheart, imo x3 One of my favourite characters in Stardew Valley. And he has the best beard xD

My mom did take anger management recreationally, there was another guy in her group who was there because he wanted to be, everyone else was court ordered. My mom actually made friends there. She also became a much better communicator. So not complaining.
I have a decade rule for tattoos, I go, I want this concept in this style in this spot and then basically set a reminder for 10 years. It doesn't have to be 10 years, but that allows for major life events.
Mine is a minimum of 1-3 years depending on how important it is. One is a memorial tattoo the others are a lil more frivolous. I have actually waited 10 years on them as man good tattoos are expensive and I’m very picky with the art. Got someone locked in for my first and second, getting them soon. 3,4 and 5 are going to be done in the next couple of years.
@@watson483 my first was a concept I wanted for a long time that ended up becoming a memorial tattoo. The other I have is basically my wedding ring. I have another one where I'd have it already if money wasn't an issue. But yeah, money often adds it's own delay to things.

a good technique is to buy a matt or raised stand and teach her “place” when she sees the mail man or person use a leash and her favorite toy or treat to lure her to her placemat. she’ll only get a her reward when she’s calm and laying down. once you get the hang of it, she may let you know when someone is there but you can get her to a calm spot. you can also reward her when she does notify you when someone’s on the porch. right now she thinks she gets rewarded every time they walk away once she barks. love ya runkle!!!!!
Is there even a point in Hannah Gutierrez asking for a new trial if she doesn't change her lawyer? She's only ('only') looking at 18 months. A new trial might drag out way past that, and even then she might STILL end up going to jail. Seems like she'd be better off having Bolles focus on getting her sentence down if she can't afford to replace him with a lawyer who knows what the hell they're doing.
She’s better off with public defender imo. I like billed but he is in the weeds. Bullion seemed to have more background in trial work and we will never know what happened.
She definitely should be getting a public defender, Bowles is out of his water with this. But she probably doesn’t know better if we’re being honest, and I doubt Bowles is recommending she should do that, for some odd reason.
It is a nuisance if someone else's house has been built on my property! It is definitely over the property line!
I feel so sorry for the poor person who had a random house built on their land by surprise- like it might be technically worth more to a third party but it sounds like the owner is sincere in their belief that it's a perfect spot for them.
I guess it would be like randomly spotting a old picture of your grandparent when someone was selling off old random pics and there being a mix up and that pic being sent to someone like damian hirst/banksy to doodle on, sure it might *technically* be more valuable now, but like you wanted a pic of grandma!

One thing I learn from r/law, don't fuck with trees. It's insanely expensive to repair trees damaged by idiots who just tear down treas for whatever reason. It has put people into bankruptcy cause they had to replace a few trees at the age they were originally or similar age. 30 year old trees are expensive folks.

On the "valuable things" in contracts: It's a lot clearer if you break down to value-able, as in people, and by extension the court, can put dollar values on it. Or cent value, in the case of the chicken bone, not to be confused with scent value. Wouldn't be surprised if valuables meaning "nice stuff" got that sense from being stuff that's nice enough to go to court over or to be entered into evidence in a burglary trial

I'd enjoy seeing photos of her when in her very young and growing up years until present and be given the info on what was going in in her life. She looked (in more than 1 way) so much improved.
When her mother and the young men sitting with her attended, I felt more compassion for her than before. What a deal she was dealt with who she was with from day 1.

With that in mind, remembering gamergate and the whole Anita Sarkeesian thing, I can’t say I’m surprised DEI consulting firms in the industry would be skittish about game fans getting their people’s names and such.

Quite a bit disingenuous to reduce the issue to "people arent happy being targeted" in this case. Yes people should have the right to say they are upset, just as people have the right to dislike the attention they get because it leads to harassment. People can convey an opinion without leading to attacks but the narrative that most people against DEI consultancy have isn't doing that. We are talking about people being upset about not have hyper sexualized female character in a game, they are not the most reasonable people to begin with.
