Great way to bring some clarity. I find it interesting that prepositions can be so vital to the essence of a thought, yet sometimes a challenged to decipher. Good stuff!

Prepositions are a challenge when learning ANY language... Arabic is my first language and I speak English fluently and can tell you about many cases one gets confused.... It also happens to me with German and Greek.... and any language as I said!!
No because προς doesn’t translate to “in”. It can be translated as “before” or “toward” based on the object of the verb or the context, but it can’t be “in”. The preposition for “in” would be εν or επι .

That video seems to be written by a KJV-only advocate who doesn't understand the argument he is making. For instance, he says capitalization was done by "translators," by which I assume he means copyists. Yet, while we don't have the original text, it is very likely that Paul also wrote in uncials (upper case - note the spelling - not unicals as the video pronounces them). So, his argument rests on conjecture. FWIW, the KJV was not the first translation to use "the same" in verse 2. He does make an interesting point about "the same" or "this" as Wycliffe Translated it. However, the underlying demonstrative pronoun is masculine, and the context comes to a head in v14 to make clear that Jesus was the Word spoken of in verses 1-5. Finally, the argument that we don't add a word to the text is admirable, but every translation (including the KJV) has to add (and even remove) words in order to make the text coherent in the target language (we don't translate every use of the Greek equivalent "the" for example). So the way this argument is used is inconsistent with the intention of Revelation 22:18-19 and a little naive. I'm sure, in many respects this person is serving the Lord faithfully, and so I'm not eager to get into an argument, but hopefully, this helps.
I imagine it's a good lesson and I enjoyed the beginning, got really tired (on the verge of a headache) with the excited tone as it had lasted for about two minutes. Turning the volume down only helped for a tiny little while. I might come back later, though.
