Most of you have no idea what you're talking about, calling the CBR a "touring" bike. A touring bike would be a goldwing or electra glide, for example...the CBR isn't even a sport torturer. It is SIMPLY a sport bike. That's what you call a supersport style with less aggressive ergonomics. Sports tourer is something like the big BMW R1200RT or K1600GT. The cbr is NOTHING like those and some of you are calling the RS660 a sport tourer as well, wow you all are OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY.
Maybe you should of spent the last 3 days looking at real bikes instead, any 600 class bike, ninja636, R6, gsxr600....completely blows these away these are not fast enough. Boring
@@Scouse.Malinois The RS660 is lighter than all the 600s and can easily be made to have a wet weight of under 400 lbs with small modifications. The RS660 limited edition will reach around 150 mph due to improved aerodynamics so it’s plenty fast for most people. I personally have an old CBR1000F but the Tuono 660 holds even with me until 120+ mph at which point I will pull away. That means the RS660 will hold even longer since it has improved aerodynamics.
True. I've owned rsv4 for 2 years. Going to mechanics almost 4-5 times due to electronic and engines problems. 2 times being towed away. Sold it and now less headache

@No_Name Entirely subjective with the sound. The stock exhaust sounds a lot better on the RS 660 in my opinion. Also, the RS 660 produces more power over the CBR650R. Furthermore, the RS 660 has significantly more features to it such as cornering-ABS, quick-shift up and down, variable traction control etc.
@No_Name for real? parellel twin more hp than 4 inline? first you need to know that aprilia parellel twin has 270 degree angle crakshaft..which it sounds same as crossplane or v2..aprilia also so much lighter than cbr..not to forget the technology of aprilian rs660 are way to advance compare to cbr650r..im not sure why the video show aprilia has low top speed..but on paper aprilia has more horse power and more lighter..probably the meter error such as the meter for cbr is 100mph but for aprilia it jus like 90mph..

Suprised no one has mentioned the massive price difference in this comparison. Im curious how well the honda would fare against aprilia with a full akrapovic, flash/tune and other mods until it closes that $3k ish (CAD) price difference. On top of everything as well, the tuono660 and rs660 have really not had good records with reliability so far, it is a near brand new platform after all.. Honda might be more boring but it is a honda.. itll still be driving next century when you've been dead for 30 years.
Honda takes it top end, by nearly 20 mph. The top speed tests the Honda went 240 kmh (149 mph) and the RS660 went 211 kmh (132 mph). The RS660 will get to 130 mph faster, but not by a ton, and the Honda will reel it in and pass it
Not really impressed with any of their top speed, or performance, My old carburated ZX-6 E (ZZR) with 100hp and top speed at 250 km/h, I know it’s heavier with outdated suspensions and brakes so on a track I can’t keep up but on a straight like in the video I’ll smoke them out 🤣🤣🤣

Wenn die in die Drehzahlen kommt bin ich lange außerhalb jeder STVO! Und von unten raus geht echt nicht viel im Vergleich zur RS 660. Es gibt einen Vergleich in den Staaten ... Fazit -> keiner der 3 Tester möchte anschließend eine R6!!!
@@sebastian8294 ich besitze eine cbr pc40 bin aber auch eine r6 als auch rs660 gefahren und das neue twin supersport segment kommt auf keinen fall in frage für mich als nächstes bike eher werd ich auf die rj15 oder ne daytona umsteigen als auf so einen kompromiss für das gleiche geld , das einzige was gegen 600ter supersportler spricht ist normalerweise der preis und davon ist die aprillia aber auch nicht mehr weit

Stimmt schon das die 4zylinder unten rum nicht ihre kraft haben aber bei knapp 30 ps mehr (älteres Modell genommen) bringt dir das bisschen mehr power unten rum auch nichts.kenne zumindest niemand der aus der Ortschaft im 5 gang rausfahren will sondern die meisten schalten mal schön runter und haben dann schon bevor gas gegeben wird ihre 6-7k umdrehungen und damit dann auch schon kurz vor ihrer vollen leistungsausgabe. Bis die dann ihre 14.500 Umdrehungen erreicht haben ist man auf der rs nurnoch n kleiner punkt im Rückspiel.

Bis du in diesem Drehzahlbereich auf der Landstraße bist, fährst du entweder im 1.Gang oder jenseits jeder STVO! Auf den normalen Rennstrecke ist ne R6 rund 1-2Sekunden schneller pro Runde. Am Pannonia Ring hat die RS660 von 1000PS die selbe Zeit wie eine Streetfighter V4 mit selbem Test Fahrer hingelegt. Aber du hängst die natürlich ab! Eine R6 ist der letzte Scheiß auf der Landstraße und nur für die Rennstrecke geeignet. Zudem sitzt man da drauf wie nen Affe auf nem Schleifstein! Es gibt tolle Vergleichs Messung bei Tom Reitwagen… Aprilia 660 - 50 auf 120km/h GPS Messung was genau der Fahrweise auf der Landstraße entspricht. 2,7Sek so schnell wie ne Kawa ZH2 aber du willst mit der R6 noch so viel schneller sein 😂😂😂 sorry aber das ist doch nur lächerlich! Und dann am besten noch E5 kastriert mit der Stärksten je gebauten R6 Vergleichen.
I don't think so ^^ I'm switching my CBR650F for the RS660, even if the Honda is 20km/h faster, the RS660 have a best acceleration, more punchy engine and she's lighter than the Honda. I've been riding CBR since i'm 16yo : CBR125R, CBR500R, today CBR650F but tomorrow RS660 :)
Absolutely not. The rs660 for the road is fantastic. The only thing that let's it down is its rear suspension. If you fitted a quality rear shock to that it would be the ultimate middleweight by a country mile. However it still has edge over its rivals. If you don't believe me then test one out at your local dealership. They are fantastic.
Cbr600rr is old and it has too much hp to compete with Aprilia among european customers who. Can't ride a 35kW+ bike unless you are 24. And you may only detune bikes that originally had >70kW (ca 95hp)
The tachometer was shown in miles per hour for the aprilia, the video showed 131 mph, which would be 210kph. However i've also seen 'em go for 141mph which is 226kph. I don't quite know where the actual top speed is in all honesty, this is just what i've seen.
I admit the Aprilia looks cooler and more exotic, but um, I could never get excited about any bike with a parallel twin engine. Boring boring boring. It would be dangerous to own the Aprilia because the rider will likely become so bored with the engine, he might fall asleep and fall off the bike.

Aprilia for track and dealer garage, Honda for road and your garage.
The RS is a beautiful bike with a lot more tech than the Honda.....but the sound of that inline 4 is pretty hard to beat.

Only bad thing about the honda is you can't easily put a slip on exhaust, has to be a full one.
