Thank you so much, I was waiting for this video because I was thinking about "challenging" myself and try a healer this time as a main character (if it won't work I will always have the dps build) and I chose priest because I prefer aoe healing, also because the few times I played healer characters in mmo, I tended to use aoe healing anyway. But we will see! Like I said, maybe healer will not be for me but I can always use the priest as dps and main another class :D

Thank you for the video. I am playing a healer Priest. I am a little confused at what lowers the cooldown on spell 5, which is the one that reduces damage.
Hej guys, does gear,gems, enchants, etc..matter for battleground and/or arena? Or do you all start with same stats? Or how does the pvp work in general?thanks for all the great guides btw :)
Stats affect battle ground.
Arena is balanced and stats do not affect it.
Pvp stats (which are earned by doing pvp) affect pvp
DoT=Damage over Time, HoT=Healing over Time

I'll consider it. This type of thing would have to go on a spreadsheet so it can be updated

While I do intend to do more advanced stuff right now there's a lot of other stuff I need to upload first. As we get deeper into global and have better grasp on tier lists and stuff like that i'll do more advanced stuff

whats better is priest or bard when it comes to healer. Also would people for raids pickup a bard over a priest?
Priest is really good at aoe
Bard is good at dot/damage reduction with some aoe.
Both are perfectly viable and I've never never rejected either up to this point. Play what you like
Keep hearing Priest is easy to heal on but also bad single target healing. Is it really that bad? Hard to tell here since tank didn't seem to take much damage. Thanks.
Yeah it's not good, it's decent in aoe.
It's possible to shift into single target talents but by doing so you're weakening your strong point that is priest.
To be clear though. I've had a priest heal me in all content in china right now so it's very doable Its just important to acknowledge its single target isnt great
priest single target heal isnt bad. im not saying he can single target heal more than the bard or the necro, since i dont know how much they can single target heal, but the priest has a couple of talents and mechanics to boost your single target heal by a lot, even without using oracle

Is there no 2h sword or axe for warrior or berserker?
Warrior dps = 2 x 1h sword
Warrior tank = 1 sword & 1x shield
Barbarian tank & dps both = 2x axe

Both work. Do not stack 2 priests in a raid.
if you want a challenge go necro, if you want easier aoe healer go priest

I keep things more casual as introduction. The more in depth stuff goes on spreadsheets so it can be updated in real time after launch
Can you show me the skill talents preview?
Each class guide has talent tree information in the spreadsheet that is in the description.
I do this so I can update it and keep it fresh. if I showed them on the actual video they'd be out of date already.
In fact most have already changed and are now being updated to information provided by those actively level 40 (today) on global.
I know it's different but i do this to provide fresher updates without needed to create a different class guide per month.

whats the best healer?
We're not deep enough into raiding for best healer talk.
The main thing right now is not to stack 2 priests in a raid together. Mix it up
Priest = aoe
bard = hot/bit of aoe and dmg reduction
necro = a bit of a mix, much harder to use class ability (chains)
what's the class with the most DOT damage?
I'm not sure which dot is the strongest but I can say
shadow swordsman poison
necomancer ghost
ranger pet all do significant dot damage.
Sone other classes have dot damage based on talents like barbarian.
Dps classes will likely also run runes that do dot dmg based on your damage amount

this discussion is happening often recently.
Up till this point all the healers can clear any of the content, swapping talents around greatly effects each class and can move you between single target/aoe.
I'd suggest anyone wanting to play healer to try both bard and priest because they both have strengths and are pretty straight forward. Neco is more advanced so shy away unless you're determined

They should be in the spreadsheet. I do it this way so I can update it freely. I've also posted lanis extra healer guide inside my healer guide and he has even more indepth talent stuff. He told me yesterday he's working on dps section of guide as well

They have the audacity to globally launch a game that lacks english translation. how is it any different from the chinese version?
99.9% of the game translates to perfect english in both china and global (china events excluded. I'm unsure why you'd think otherwise.
