When Lestat tells Claudia to try something in a more somber note, she plays Haydn's Sonata Adagio e Cantabile, Before that, the more upbeat sonata she is playing is Antonio Soler's Sonata No. 90 in F Sharp Major.
it seemed to me, in the book, like Louis was kind of "into" Claudia as she got older, which isn't really weird because she only -looked- like a kid. She was like the daughter and girlfriend at the same time. Of course vampires don't have sex, so it's kind of different.
In the book Louis appears to be into Claudia from the very beginning. When he first bit into her, he felt her heartbeat so strong and so he claimed that she was "too strong for him" that he couldn't kill her. But Lestat brought her to him Louis couldn't resist and he bit her again, this time to the point of death and so Lestat turned her into a vampire. Right away Louis mentioned that he immediately felt her allure attraction because her body was childish but her eyes were luminous like the eyes of a woman and he in a way fell for her because something in her reminded him of a human woman he was fond on in his plantation. Eventually, as Claudia became to grow up (mentally) after around sixty-something years Louis openly confesses that he loves her and Claudia calls him "Lover" at one point. In the books it is not always clear that they do feel sexual attraction the way humans do. Lestat is seen feeling pleasure in seducing his victims but they mainly focus to the pleasure and bliss they get when they feel their victims' heartbeats as they kill them. They appear to have desires but never clearly hint they bed someone. Their main lust appears to be translated by their need to feed and they satisfy it because the act of feeding appears to be very intimate to them.
