These techniques are truly miraculous. I did these therapies on my father who has severe hemiplegia on his left side and has not been able to extend his arm for nearly a year after his stroke. I tried the rapid flexor movements and within minutes, his fingers started to loosen up and I was able to extend his hand just like in the video! I could see how happy was dad was. I was thrilled and continued this twice a day, everyday. It's only been 4 days, but he's now able to extend his arm and increase his range of motion. We are practicing supinating, and I have already saved so many more of your videos to further work on his hand and next the wrist. I appreciate the "what not to do" examples as I've been mistakenly trying to "pry" my dad's hand and arm open. As you've warned, this has hot been effective-and has in fact, caused the hand and arm to tighten up even more. Thank you Dr. Sharma! You are a genius and truly know what you are practicing and teaching. Your educational series has saved my dad and our family. Many blessings.
I tried this today on a patient and it really worked. It even helped decrease the edema that was in the hand. Thank you so much! I'm saving this to my playlist.
This techniqe is currently helping me a lot in treating one of my patients who is also having severe shoulder hand pain syndrome for which I am using TENS therapy alongwith , thanks a lot , would like to have further suggestions from you Sir
Thank you very much for showing, really helpful and great. Here also absolutely useful for our work as occupational therapists who also work with patients with strokes and spasticity.
Great fabulous and goes along with some of the Feldenkrais principles of non force and going with the pattern until there is a response in the other direction
sir after a while when he started to do some other exercise, synergy came again but I have only applied it once for the first time and I am very excited to see his hand out of it
I don't speak english I'm using google translator. But I wanted to thank you, for providing materials, especially for the physiotherapy students. Hug from Brazil
Great video... Looking forward to more... 😁As u explained in previous videos that in flexor UL synergy most strongest is elbow flexion... Can u plz guide that should we start working on the most strong synergy developed or the most weakest one first ...
Both the synergies needs to be facilitated and developed side by side to ensure that flexor predominance donot hinder with facilitation of Movements like elbow extension, wrist extension, etc Thanks for watching Physioclassroom ❤️ Do share our channel videos with your contacts and help us in reaching out to maximum number of people 😊
ello, thank you very much. According to my understanding, the entire injured body is one unit. There is no separation. My method is circular movements thousands of times until the tension of the head, neck, arms, legs, back is released, all circular movements thousands of times.
