I wasn't ready for the amount of ham and was expecting one thin slice. That looked great. As for the olive oil, usually you get your tostada with the tomato sauce already on, so oil goes on top; When it's not, I add the olive oil 1st, but it makes more sense to put it on top of the tomato sauce.

I would compare that type of food like the one that you can eat in a dinner in the USA. I don´t know about Australia but for sure in Australia great amazing food from all over the world can be eaten, even better than in Spain, because of the weather, the closeness to Asia and the food of the inmigrants from everywhere.
Forty years ago I would eat that type of food, not now in Spain. I would have a healthy tasty breakfast, there are thousands of places that you can eat really nice healthy tasty food from all over the world, like Honest Greens, even I prefer another places much more.

My husband and I just had an early dinner( 5:30 pm) at a restaurant in Aurora , Colorado yesterday. We got two smothered burritos . One had sour cream and both had a mexican white cheese. Both of the burritos were smothered with chili . We paid $36.00 dollars plus a $7.00 tip , which is 20 percent of the bill. My husbands burrito had pork that he said was dry as a bone. He told me later after we left that his burrito was awful. I still would have given the waitress a good tip , since it is not her fault the food was not great. I had chicken in my burrito and it was fine. The place had a 4.5 rating. It was not that great for a local place and was not what I would call a 4.5 . So when I see videos on food in Spain we sure miss the prices and quality of the food and bread. We used to eat out often here in Metro Denver, but we can not afford to eat out that often. It is not really good for our health anyway. Fast food here at In and Out , which is a chain , costs 17.00 for two hamburgers with french fries and a drink . My husband likes to order the double hamburger with cheese on top . Costco here charges $3.50 for a big hot dog on a bun with a soda pop fountain drink. You won't find food that cheap at any fast food or restaurant here in Metro Denver. I have come to realize in the last two years as prices have gone up that to eat well in Denver Metro whether it is a breakfast , dinner or lunch they generally hover around 15.00 for the entree to start.
